I slept on a twin mattress from my childhood to the day I moved out of my parent's house. Rn in my dorm I have the shitty twin sized mattress on a rickety bed frame. When I finally get my own place, the first thing I am getting is the nicest bed money can buy.

I learned this week to not test a bed you aren't willing to pay for. Ended up spending much more on a new mattress than I anticipated. Hopefully it lasts a good 15 years.
GMC Sierra that was originally bought and registered in Arizona. Despite already paying sales tax and all that good stuff when it was initially bought, I now have to pay sales tax a second time to CA, as well as tax on my previous AZ registered truck that got traded in, commercial registration fees because apparently every truck is considered a commercial vehicle in California, and a million other bullshit fees and taxes. Still gotta get it inspected, smogged, and weighed tomorrow. So yeah, might as well be a Mack truck, it’s pretty much registered as one.
Why didn’t you register it here? Didn’t want to be that out of state guy?
