FaunaSkisNo need for brakes, they dont do anything in pow anyway, get pow ribbons if you're expecting to lose a ski.
OP do it, you wont regret it, except if the core layout means if you mount a binding in the centre you're mounting into a soft wood, meaning likely binding pullout.

mystery32. They make 150mm brakes for attacks, those would probably fit?
DesertStixThe mono ski is like, in the 190’s underfoot so no I don’t think those would work unless OP was mounting up two short swallow tail snowboards
mystery3I was sort of joking but because the attack brakes are so wide I bet it wouldn't be as far off as you'd imagine. Probably just go with leashes though.
