BradFiAusNzCoCaMy theory is loose toe wings or din needs to be higher. It’s only on low speed and it doesn’t affect performance for me.
what is yours like?

JacobCamposSimilar clicking, I have some non GW 14s that when just sitting on the floor in boots i can make the wing pieces click. I can also do it by hand, just trying to figure out if it could be problematic. Forward pressure is right on the mark.

So I got my FKS 120s put on some skis in around November. I started messing around with buttering on these new skis and I noticed right away this kind of “clicking”. It almost feels like something moves. Like my toe is rising or something.

I’m pretty sure it’s the toe wings rising or my toe height is incorrect. The only time I’ve had something like this was with some tyrolia attacks and it was an easy fix by adjusting the toe height.

The problem is that I can’t adjust the toe height on these bindings. The past two skis I had these bindings on were stiffer underfoot so maybe it’s something to do with the ski flexing more underfoot and how the bindings interact with my boot? I don’t know.

It hasn’t caused an issue but it has me wondering.

Anyone else have any experience with something like this?

BradFiAusNzCoCa16-17 tecnica Mach1 130 LV 26.5. Bindings are FKS 120 2016.

Ive got some Mach1 120 LV same size and year here with new pivot 12s and I don’t have the issue so could be the other boots.

mc36000Check forward pressure. Fuck the indicator on the heel, just give the boot a solid wiggle after engaging it and adjust pressure until the clicking and excess movement goes away
