sambuswellI superglued an old seasons pass on the flat part of the afd and it worked until I got WTR boots, it could be worth a shot
s-handThat has nothing to do with forward pressure. Forward pressure only deals with fore-aft tightness. You really shouldn't be messing with it. You get it set to the right amount (different for each binding maker) and leave it.
Your problem, unfortunately, is just due to poor binding design. That binding has two finite height settings, with no adjustability in between. So that means if your boot is a little worn, you have no way of compensating for it by moving the AFD up a little. Other bindings that are compatible with both alpine and WTR soles (Marker Griffon/Jester, Salomon STH, Tyrolia AAttack, pretty much every other binding on the market) are infinitely adjustable between the alpine ans WTR "settings".
beasongrantim having this same exact problem, did you find a solution yet?
