Ive been getting super tired and pretty good toe/shin bang after arounld 5 hours of straight skiing. Im in the park almost the whole time just do like 2 warm up runs on groomers. How long do u guys ski for?
When the conditions are right I do love to ski until the lifts close, but since I have to deal with I-70 traffic on some days I'll have to be off the mountain by 2 so I don't spend the next six hours in traffic because some idiot ignored the traction laws.
BiffbarfIf you're not lappin bell to bell why'd you even wake up in the morning
I usually get to the mountain at like 12 but sense Im not old enough to have my license
I gotta do ski club there my high school and they think its a good idea to get to the mountain at 8:00 am

I usually ski from 9-4 pretty much straight up unless I stop for lunch (which I rarely do). I usually ski Saturday and Sunday. The shin bang gets me for sure. About halfway through day 2 it starts becoming an issue. Monday mornings are always slow and achy
Yea but whats the quality of your skiing. Spending hours in the lodge or taking safety meetings every lap doesn't mean you're riding hard bell to bell.
This is the same for me, all of a sudden getting off the lift you can barely lean forward in your boots without pretty harsh pain.

Trying to do full days when not working, spent way to fuckin much on a seasons pass this year, so usually 10-4 or 9-3. Ill ski shitty full days even cuz its just nice to get and slide around
Damn. Everyone is putting in some serious days. Usually it's like 10-2 for me. No lunch though. I used to do open to close, but now it has to be a reeeally good day for me to do that. I get tired and if I'm trying new things and I'm falling, my body starts to hurt real quick. And fuck sitting in traffic. I have a 2 hour drive as is to get home.
When I was younger I could pull off frequent 10 hour days. No fucking clue how I did. Wouldn’t even drink coffee or eat a proper meal. Now I can barely ski for more than 5 hours and I never get out before noon.

Snooze my alarm for a few hours, get out of bed and puke cuz I'm horrendously hungover, dive off my back porch into the snow to refresh my senses, drink some coffee, call my friends and realize they are already at the hill, get my shit together and head out the door, roll up to the lift at like 12:00, crack a beer, head over to my favorite chairlift and go mach potato on tracked out chop until that one closes at 2:30, hike out from the top and get to some steep shit, crack another beer and chill at the top, find some chunky rocks to collect some more core shots, rip bumps under the lift-line until 4, race to get to the bottom of the lift right as they are about to call last chair, chill out on a bench for a lil bit and enjoy the scenery until like 4:15, "two skip!", rip to the bottom and hit all of my favorite sneaky lines to maximize fun all the way to the parking lot.
10-10 with an hour break for lunch and to drive from the conjoined resorts I go to. Jack frost to big boulder. Usually a dinner break for half an hour.
Use to have 5-15 9am to 10pm days a season nonstop but those days are long gone. Now usually after 3 hours I'm getting sloppy but typically the past 2 seasons 3-6 hours 2-4 days a week. I'm alot pickier about the lift lines and conditions now days so rip it up while your young and resilient.
My typical ski experience as a weekend warrior assuming it's not a powder day:
Friday night: Party till 12:30/1ish, but finish the night drinking copious amounts of water
6:45 AM: Rise, shower, brush teeth, take a dump
7:15 AM: Leave house for 9:00 open having phoned in burrito from @basecampkitchen for pickup, Jules makes awesome burritos
8:00 AM: be at base of LCC because traffic and be parked by 8:30, having eaten burrito and drank coffee
8:45 AM: be in Tram line with 4 PBRs in pockets ready for mineral groomers, 2 for me, 2 for the lifties
9:00 AM first tram, rip mineral groomers for a few laps and then move over to Peruvian for chalky but getting sunny Baldy laps, hit the heavy lines in ampitheater
11:30 AM: Friends arrive after getting up late, meet them at bottom of Peruvian after stopping at car for additional beer and the rest of my food
12:00 PM-4 PM: Start skiing seriously, hit some heavy shit, big lines, bigger air since people can save me if I crash hard
4-5:30ish: Tram club laps or beer at the car till traffic subsides
Sunday: Repeat Saturday, but Peruvian lodge for live music after and partying
All in all: Bell to Bell 2 days in a row, 4-5 beers drank during each day, piff smoked is nice, but edibles are better, generally walking around with a grin on my face and ready for the next weekend. Fuck I'm a lucky son of a bitch

Does any of your local mountain offer those white nights that you can ski all night until 3am, here in Bromont it is such a cool thing, park the whole night
