Things looked a little bleak at first but Tahoe region is off to a pretty solid start.

I've spent $1500 on new gear and a pass, threw out my back on the second run of the first day, and have now spent another $300 on chiropractor visits.

So I'd say it's going pretty great so far

T-minus 2 hours til mine starts. Well I've been skiing already this year but my home mountain opens in 2 hours for the season.

Just skied pow for 12 hours straight. Fresh tracks all day..... but some motherfucker stole my backpack (I’m pissed so I’m assuming they stole it. But hopefully they just handed it to ski patrol)

best start we've had in the midwest in a long time it feels like. i finally got out last night to try my new setup (sego cleaver 102 w/tyrolia attack 2 13) and holy fuck do they rip. still in awe, just wow. can't wait for some full days with these, peeping what days i can take off work coming up here lol. sucked reading the replies about injuries and recoveries^ hope errbody recovers well.

It looked promising in the maritimes at the start of december with about 6" on PEI and ,a few sessions on a DIY rope tow but after about a week there was a heavy rain. Very cold with a little snow at the moment, but about 30 mm rain in the forecast.
Went to an early season rail jam in New Brunswick. Decent small park there. Heading to the Gaspe this weekend to do some touring.
Pretty good start overall, would be excellent if not for the rain.

Got up to Killington last month for some warm up turns.

New England got dumped on last week and I got an early season pow day.

Then it rained a shit ton this week.

Stoked the season is finally here.

We are off to a good old fashion east coast season. Cold, warm, cold, warm. Can’t make up its mind.


I’m making the most of it. A wise man once told me that you can’t let a janky park setup be your excuse for not trying a trick or riding park. Same goes for shit conditions. Still gotta get out there and enjoy the outdoors.

Landed a couple new tricks in the rain today. Making the most out of the soft snow before it hardens up again. Hopefully there's a couple snowstorms soon so I can get some real laps in.

Season is good, man. You know when you have those days where everything just kinda goes right? You're landing clean, skiing fast, and looking good; I've had a number of those days so far and it's felt good. I'm stoked even though we're hurting for snow.

Already did a Banff trip and a Big Sky trip. Plus normal weekend warrior Wasatch skiing.

Will probably try for 2-4 more trips if I can. Jackson and Aspen - maybe Mammoth over Memorial Day. Wife skis now and has picked it up super quick so it’s fun to ski with her now.

We could use some snow here in Tahoe but otherwise good. I think weve only gotten 20 inches in the last month and a half. That said I got some northstar laps in and today will be my 4th time to diamond peak this week.

Also check out homewood for the first time and have a 4 more days of free skiing there. Hitting up boreal on friday with some other park groomers. Haven't been there yet this year but setup looks fire. Hoping one of my buddues that works there will come out for a few laps.

Def need some snow but Im happy to get out.

This season's sick so far. I started skiing park last year and got my 3's and rails down pretty good but this year I feal fuckin' awesome. My aerial awareness is much better and I'm spotting my landings opposed to just T-spin hucking small hits. Gonna go for 270 ons today and 5's and backies real soon. Honestly I feel that my comfort is where it is partly cause I see so many good trick tips here, so thanks NS!

not great, broke my nose internally/got concussed in December, temps have consistently been in the upper 30s/low 40s, and the local hill JUST built a (mini! with 4 features!) park on Saturday

Out here in the PNW, kind of the same deal. We JUST got jumps built, pretty unusual. Typically they are built up by the end of December
