GMBit looked kinda janky
DIRTYBUBBLEPut some respect on Tanners name.
He spent his “prime” years in the 2000s competing and battling Simon Dumont in the pipes. After he stepped back from comps he started skiing big mountain lines and made even more of a name for himself. Now he’s 36 and can still huck rodeos onto and off of urban walls. Tanner is gnarly as fuck.
SuspiciousFishI fucking hate Tanner Hall's style. Skiing used to be this graceful endeavor and he has to come out on the scene with his pot smoking punk ass attitude and gorilla stance like he is hot shit. Its really a disgrace if you ask me and the worst part is all the kids trying to emulate him in the park.

pinkcamo1000even if you don't think Ts style is good now, you have to acknowledge that he was one of the first skiers who made style a priority and practically birthed the whole movement of style skiing, along with dudes like Mik D and Eric Pollard. There is so much direct influence from Tanner to guys like B&E, who have in turn gone on to be super influential to the style skiers today like The Bunch. I honestly have no idea what the sport would look like without Ski Boss.
GMBI dunno. Just watched In The Meantime and it looked kinda janky. He definitely used to.

SuspiciousFishLol you kids actually thought I was going to hate on the Ski Boss?

The truth is Tanner may not be the most stylish skier in 2019 but in reality he basically invented the current newschool ski style and irked a lot of people when he first did it. His "Gorilla Steeze" royally pissed off the conservative ski community back in the early 2000s. Tanner is literally patient zero and template for the style that park skiing has built over the last 2 decades.

WobbyYa he's got kind of weird style. Sometimes its a little forced looking, or like he's just give'n it to get it around. But other times its so wildly smooth and stomped...DAMN
hubbardsIt doesnt matter to him if people don’t like his style.

hubbardsyall really need to make a distinction between his legacy and his current style. Clearly this post is refering to the latter, and no matter how influential skiboss was (and is), he’s not elevated above criticism.
It doesnt matter to him if people don’t like his style. This hive mentality that Thall is untouchable is redundant. He’s gonna keep doing what he wants to do no matter what.
Tldr: Just because somebody has a legendary legacy doesnt mean theyre exempt from criticism.
J_Steez...troll?
DeebieSkeebiesIts aggressive skiing that he makes look so damn smooth; its hard to do imo. Lots of people can ski hard but can they make it look good.
Chubz.Delorme & Ware come to mind. P White & Sammy Carlson as well.
screaming down a chute or sheer face while throwing a trick in the middle the line or blasting through pillows and making it look effortless...so impressive.
DeebieSkeebiesAll other great examples, including Candide as well. Not that those guys don't get enough credit but just skiing really fast and clean doesn't get enough love sometimes. Its hard to keep it all under control and make it so precision-like you're a ninja
SuspiciousFishCandide literally doesnt look human when he skis big mountain lines. I have always enjoyed Seth Morrison's massive lines and aggressive style too.
