Things I dislike about being a tall skier
Skis arent long enough
You will never be able to flip as easily as small skiers
Impact is much harder to deal with due to extra joint strain and weight and it causes more injuries
You need more powder for it to be a DEEP day
Harder to reach down for grabs because your legs are so long
Less naturally flexible than shorter people

Things I like about being a tall skier:
My daffies
My schlong(when erect)
Greater leverage for butters
Everyone can see from the lift when I'm in my skisuit blasting along
I can dangle my skis below the footrest

Powder days are never deep enough...I agree with you there.
Tricks look a lot cooler; mute grabs are more pronounced and tailgrabs look better.
I can huck bigger cliffs because of range of absorption.

People can find you in the lift lines easier.

Cons:
It's hard to find pants that are baggy enough.
Skis are never as long as I wanted and if they were they would be hard to transport. My 191 narrowly squeeze into my rocket box as is.

Pros:
Maybe someday I'll be like Ahall

Pros-
Crashing is more exciting for other people to watch
Cliffs feel smaller

Cons-
Crashing involves a lot more shit whipping than the hobbits
Cliffs look smaller

i'm 6 feet 4 (6.4) and
Pro:
- my skis are long enough at 185 for park skiing
- can withstand tougher landings and go bigger then small people
- always have speed due to more weight & height
- don't look like a child on skis
- i can't hit my balls on rails

Cons:
- t-bars are hella annoying with smaller people
- most of the rails seem to low too look good on camera
- sometimes need bigger jumps then smaller people

stability on rails can be tougher, especialy for pretzel spins
getting tacoed on rails sucks more.
everyone says flips are harder but it wont really effect you until you start doing dubs

I'm 6'1", don't really feel like it at all. My ski pants aren't long enough which is annoying, but that's about it. Some of you guys are at 6'2" saying you can't find skis long enough, meanwhile I'm on 171's.

A lot of it is probably just cause I don't ski enough to notice these problems..

Shits just never big enough. sucks when you see a sick ski but the biggest size is a 184 when you need like 194. Clothes too. XXL jus don't cut it. where that triple and quad X at

6'5 here. Well heres all my issues. First one is I have 2 slipped disks and I just had back surgery on them and now I cant ski for the next year and a bit. two all cloths are too small. three impact sucks balls(hence my slipped disks) four yeah grabs and rails are harder cause of centre of balance.

6'3 checking in can confirm have fucked myself following in a smaller skier into a jump and either cased or overshot, also to add to this; my knees already have bursitis and i'm 21, I constantly have back problems and I'm not flexible

Yea sorry to disappoint bud, any park pics of me will just be me flailing out trying to grab a ski that's about 3 meters away from my hand or yardsaling. Best skier on the MTN

he's been riding the new prodigy 1.0's, and they come in a 187 which is pretty long for a park ski. Think it's mostly because they've got loads of rocker

I'm 6'4"...if you're 6'4" and an XL or XLT isn't big enough, you don't need bigger skis...what you need is: a gym.

Hit up a burlington coat factory if you are near one. Mine never disappoints and im 6'2. Got some dope champion hoodies I wore all last season that were perfect. And they have sizes up to 6xl haha

Also, foot locker and finish-line both sell blank tall-ts up to like +5 length. Good for layering.

To be honest, I think playing the tall card is just an excuse for people who are tall and suck at skiing. Bobby, Russ, Geopper, AHall, Mcrae, and more dudes are all big boys and have no problem learning rotations or creating new ones

6'2" here. I don't really notice anything, except I have to duck on certain chairs if the bar comes down. Also, 2xl stuff looks fitted on me.
