you just have to lean further back than you think you need to, but then compensate by angling your leg to be perpendicular with the rail. Just watch Some Bdog 1 footers and you will see what I mean since he exaggerates everything about them and steezes them out

Have u tried no footies just levitate over the rail they look sick and they r cooler

Go fast, kick your downhill ski up. I actually prefer them on short and sketchy rails cause if I catch on it, I'll have another ski to put down instead of going head first at the ground.

1) be supper confident doing ski slides
2) make sure your pretty damm good at standing on one leg
3) go fast
4) on take off, whilst popping onto rail. Imagine your kicking a ball like in soccer with one leg this leg will remian in the air till you get to the end of the rail
5) centre your wait on the leg thats on the
6) ride out switch or whatever way you feel confident

gotta send it fast it makes the sliding almost effortless and you can barely tell you even hit the rail for the most part.
