Ski Chatter

Hey NS,

So I recently got a brand new pair of FT's that I love first of all, but I noticed at high speeds only my left ski starts to chatter/wobble. These boots are definitely way more responsive than my old bricks which I think might be the difference, but also I adjusted my bindings myself to the boots, and I am no ski technician but I think I did a pretty good job. I noticed that if I put more forward pressure on my skis the problem goes away. Could it be the fact that I'm not used to such an aggressive, responsive boot or anything else? Appreciate any help!

Are you saying your ski is chattering against the snow or your boot is chattering in your binding?

If it's your boot in your binding somethings wrong with your mount. I'd say your soles are worn but being that you have brand new boots that can't be the case.
Are your skis rockered or do they have early rise? Skis with rocker or early rise will chatter, it's pretty unavoidable.

When I say chatter I mean against the snow. Nothing wrong with the way the bindings have been mounted as my whole setup is fairly new. I have fully cambered skis but I'm thinking since I'm new to a park setup I'm not used to having problems like this although my skis are pretty long.

your skis are fine, your boots are fine, your bindings are fine. you jus need to ski and stop freaking out about every little thing that you hear or see. skis chatter, chip, crack edges, top sheet chips and all kinds of other shit. but if you setup is fairly new then your setup is fine.
