Replying to Silicon on skis effect on snow and rails

Ok so at our ski team barn we have an air bag and m snow ramp but for more speed we roll on silicon on our skis and I dont have any other skis than the ones i use for the ramp with me so Im using them for some preseason tomoorrow now there is a few inches of blown snow so that silicon on my skis (there is a decent amount) will it slow me down or speed up rails I know there are idffrent kinds of silicon but all i know is its not calking silicon its clear and slightly sticky
