It disappoints me that Siggers won't win super unknown. Kid kills it so hard and is probably the best skier out of the bunch. But I'd love to see Williams in a level one film

He won't? I don't know, regardless of how he does here I am sure we will be seeing a bunch of great stuff from him in the future. He's such a killer combination of great skier and media producer, I think he'll go far and I'm stoked to see what he does

I'm going for Dylan Siggers because he is the most entertaining one to watch and he is actually really good. And of course Alec nelson, the funk was way too sick.

Well if you look at super unknown the final competition. It's not Siggers forte, but the other riders it is. Siggers focuses on being a killer rider in the back country. He'll do amazing things and I'm so excited to see him in the future. But the circumstances regarding super unknown means he's at a disadvantage

I'm not being negative. I love watching Siggers ride and his content. I'm just starting how super unknown is finally decided puts him at a disadvantage. Siggers will be a huge film name in a few years

Gonna post Matt Kaye's superunknown entry that didn't make the cut. Urban wasn't as creative or tech as some of the other entries but nonetheless is really gnarly considering there was never more than 3" of snow on the ground in Minnesota this winter and the kink rails are much burlier than they look. There's been a lack of heavy hitting urban skiers in Minnesota recently but this kid is the future!

Kid has potential but this edit kind of made him look like he was trying to emulate a currently popular style. Not saying it's bad but when fielding talent for a video you want some thing unique.

There have been people that went to the finalists shoot and didn't win that now film with Level 1. Given L1P's history with this contest, literally anything could happen. I would not be surprised if Jonah and Dylan were both filming with Level 1 next season, regardless of the film shoot outcome.

Siggers and Lovelace definitely put the most effort into their edits and it shows.

Overall i think siggers should win, but if it's based on a park shoot he might not. Level 1's street crew talent pool is already deep which makes things hard for Geoff, but their crop of backcountry riders is getting older and i think bringing in siggers could create a new rainville/wiley like legend to fill their pow segments for years to come

Also, i'm sorry but park rails should be an automatic DQ from SU in future years, unless it's something so absurd like candide's recent 810 to rail, otherwise it's just filler and sort of says you weren't willing to go through enough effort to put though a really solid entry

Disagree. If you are truly "super unknown" you should be able to put every one of your best shots in an edit, regardless of the location, into an edit and blow people's minds.

Some guys don't have the snow or a lot of opportunities to hit urban. And it's pretty easy to see someone who has the potential to be really good at urban

That "backcountry line" should not be in there. Dude was skiing in some TERRIBLE avy conditions, was backseat as hell, and almost ate shit a lot. The fluidity was also pretty low...

can someone explain how gabe's style is bad? it was creative and unique, two things we claim to embrace. i mean blind 360 surface swap to handrag pretzel forward. Very few people are thinking of skiing this way

Style isn't the tricks he did, that's more tech/creativity it's the arm thing he's got going that's rubbing people the wrong way. I really wish people would stop bitching about style, some people forced it in their early days and can't help it later on.

I don't understand why this is getting down voted, the backcountry line was by far the gnarliest clip of them all, I mean the small avy to a huge air deserves some fucking respect.

The line itself was good sure, but his style was way off. You wouldn't give praise to a park trick with shitty style, this is no different. Way backseat, really washed out turns, no attempt at pole planting.

The line was there, but he skied it like shit. Backseat, no fluidity, almost went down. turning with his upper body. I'm honestly surprised he made it down.
