Hey NS, Slvsh is a freeski matchup league similar to what Stept's Skate on Snow was. We've filmed 12 games so far. The first game, Noah Morrison vs Noah Wallace, drops tomorrow, October 14th, on http://www.slvsh.com

Common knowledge already but Jonah Williams is such a sick talent and style on skis. His game against Jed he called some sick sets, stomped them and continued to amaze me.

Slvsh fantasy rules

your skier scores a letter +1 point

your skier scores 2 unanswered letters + 1 point

your skier loses 2 unanswered letters -1 point

your skier fails their trick and loses the revenge letter -1 point

your skier wins 5-0 +3 points

your skier loses 0-5 -2 points

your skier wins +1 if they lose -1

pick one for each game and add your points at the end. Cool game idea

Oh true that would be wild. You could at least bet on stuff more detailed than winner like the letter count at finish, who wins the rock paper scissor, how many revenge letters, etc. Idk I’ve never sports betted so I guess I wouldn’t know what I’m missing out on for live betting on little funny shits.

tbf it was kinda easy to tell because one team had a child and the other had Laplante who was the only one not on Armadas
Also the best thing about slvsh is seeing the diffferent ways people execute the same trick so it was kinda extra cool that way. The ability for the other player to try the rebate trick was cool too.

SO the goal is to try this again but figure out a way to have the skiers choose/ also make it so every skier skis close to the same amount. So if anyone has some better ideas Id love to hear!

Currently we ran it as the setting team has to take turns but the defending team chooses who has the best chance. Could be fun to have the setting skier choose who has to try it with them? Idk

spit balling and brain storming here. what if each team calls a line and both skiers on the team must hit at least 1 of the tricks. so team 1 calls a line and skier A hits features 1,2 and skier B hits features 3,4. team 2 decided skier C will do feature 1 and skier D will do features 2,3,4.
