I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Being friends with exes is only possible if two things add up. First being that both parties were mature about how the relationship went down. Two is having mutual friends. If your friendship exists in isolation, it will always have some romantic baggage, I don’t care how much you say it’s platonic. If you have some shared community it can be a lot better as it won’t be based on just one on one time and conversation. If you don’t have both of those you’re playing with fire imo.

Sent my first dub frontflip today
Sent the rotation perfect and landed on my feet centered
Bad news is I went to flat and smashed my chin into my knee, and got folded
My jaw hurts like crazy and I have trouble closing my mouth in the right side now
First thing I heard a kid day when he skied up to me was "he just lost all of his teeth"
Luckily I was wearing this chunky mouth guard cause I have braces. And am all good
My knee even hurts from how hard my jaw hit it

Winter season has been super stale. I’m not skiing any worse than last but certainly not better and haven’t done anything new, not climbing well and have definitely digressed there, have the social energy of a potato, totally failed on ski touring goals yada yada yada. Kind of just waiting for river and busy season to take over my life again at this point.

I feel this. I'm kind-of thinking about riding bikes now considering that Denver had a high of 70F today. That's fucked for February. And all my friends are skiing pow back in Utah.
