Whistler Student season pass

Anyone been able to get one of these who's a student but not in Canada? Just wondering how strict they are about it? I'm Australian and and planning on doin 14/15 season there.
Any help appreciated

I tried emailing them about it for the season that just passed and didn't have any luck.

You basically have to attend uni in BC or Washington from what I remember.

They have a list of "Approved Institutions" on their website. From what i can remember, its mainly schools in BC and some from across Canada. Check it out though, its the best deal you can get on a pass without being under 18 or over 70.

An Australian uni is not eligible. You need to be enrolled in a Canadian or Wash post secondary school. Giving you access to a student card and printed schedule.

If you are unable to obtain a student pass, finding a job in whistler that gives a staff pass or spirit pass is probably your best option.

Enroll in a Vancouver community college, get a student card and a schedule, drop all your courses.

You'll lose your ~$100 application fee but save 500 on your pass.

They've narrowed it even further to just BC and Wash. I managed to finagle one extra year with the pass as a University of Calgary student because they surprised me with the new rules and by the time they announced the change I'd missed the earlybird pass deadline. Last year I wasn't so lucky.
