Same deal as the I'm Drunk thread or I'm high thread but better or something.

Here's some guidelines, because this thread will be better if you follow them some of the time...

-Please don't post things like 'dude i can bang out like 5 gram rocks'. We know you're hardcore, and if you aren't, you should probably avoid messing with drugs like that.

-And if you're under the age of 18 and you think you're super cool cause you started blowing yay or shooting H and wanna talk about how cool you are... just... dont.

-Tweaker stories, weird mind trips you're on, funny pictures/videos that are funnier because you're loaded... YES PLEASE!

anyone ever at an 1/8th of mushies and rode rollercoasters? im meeting some buddies in sixflags magic mountain next weekend and one of them said he will bring an eight for each of us and im kinda contemplating it. Ive ate a a quarter before and been able to walk around in public but with out talking to any one.

thoughts?

It's amazing watching the kids you grew up with slowly fall off due to oxycontin and heroin use. The OC bug hit my town pretty damn hard, and when they disbanded Purdue from manufacturing anymore 80's under the original formulation it sent many kids into a withdrawal they didn't even know would exist for them, and thats when the Heroin usage started. I've seen friends lose jobs, fail school, steal from their family, give up, and even pass away once... Not cool. That being said, I feel that those who have had these experiences with hard drugs, realized that there was a problem, and fought their way back to normalcy are so much more open and positive in everyday situations. Furthermore, those who keep the habit kicked for life are usually of the educated type as well. In my opinion it all comes down to your home life as a child, and the support system you have in place now.

After reading this, it does not relate to the quoted text too heavily, but whatever. This thread could either become a wealth of information and positive guidance or a total shitshow, and I'd say its right in the middle currently. Honestly, this stuff should probably be left for erowid, I know it's not what I come to NS for.

I understand where you're coming from, but that whole "natural drugs are better" thing is a total myth. There are plenty of natural substances that will kill your ass, and plenty of chemicals and synthetic substances that are healthy and have several benefits. Just because a drug is natural does not mean it is safe, and vice versa. I'm sure you already know this, just saying.

I went to southern Utah with 10 buddies and 9 of us took acid the second morning. We were in escalante in this canyon that eventually went deep enough in the ground that there was a running stream and some plant life. Day one we hiked a quarter of the way into the canyon and camped out. Next morning we took the L and went on our day hike to the center of the canyon. We heard that it was about three miles so we left around lunch.

Everyone began tripping on this sandy beach area. we tossed a frisbee and decided it was time to go deeper. We took off our boots and began walking down the creekbed through shin deep water, it felt amazing.

About two hours later we were still walking down the stream and a group of tech ass hikers passed us in the opposite direction on the trail. The trail definitely seemed like a faster route, and we asked one of the older dudes "how far is it until the middle?" He rolls up his sleeve, takes a look at his watch, looks at the six of us standing barefoot in the creek, back to his watch, and says, "at the rate you're going, about 45 minutes." but what I heard come out of his mouth was, "at the rate you're tripping, about 45 minutes." and I couldn't help but started cracking up like a child in front of their whole group and continued walking down the creek past them. I thought for sure everyone else in the canyon could clearly tell our entire group was spun off our asses.

The thing about opiates is that if you can get them on the reg for cheap with a reliable source then you can live a more fun life using them than if you abstained. If you have a source and then it runs out youre in for a world of hurt. Its all about will power, and not increasing your dose from day to day and keeping mental strength over the drugs, not letting them control you even though they inevitably will to some extent. But having all your problems disappear with a shot is a pretty fun way of life imo.

Whats wrong with comparing reefer to opiates?  If you only use opiates occasionally and don't get very strong pills how is popping a vicodin when you are drinking any different than puffing a blunt when drinking?  Now ones more addictive of course but thats the only difference.

People who have this 'weed is perfect it has no side effects make it legal...but real drugs are bad ban coke psychedelics and opiates' attitude are dumb.  All drugs should be legal and up to adults to decide on their own if they want to use.  If you have a normal attitude to marijuana you should grow up and extend it to all recreational drugs even drugs you have no intention of using.

Let me guess, you're one of those people who believes that marijuana has absolutely no health risks, is completely beneficial in every aspect, cannot be addictive in any form, and can't possibly harm anyone in anyway. Yeah opiates are bad, but weed is still a drug and has well-documented health risks in addition to its benefits. Doing neither is safer than doing either or both, FACT. Don't talk down to people because you don't like their drug of choice.
