MTB Trek Fuel Ex 7 Help?

I just bought a new trek fuel ex 7 and I've been fooling with some shock settings. I was testing them on a stair set. Nothing to big just a bit farther apart. I think I found a good setting for the air pressure for descent on the CTD Shocks. I'm not sure whats going on now, but I looked the bike over for the brake discs rubbing but didn't see anything. It is possible I broke a bearing?

I would check with your local bike shop usually they can give you pretty solid advice and will take a quick look with out charging you, or try www.pinkbike.com they've got a lot of knowledge on there.

Maybe it would help if you actually described what's wrong with your bike instead of telling us what you were doing when something went wrong...

Its not rolling smooth or as fast as it should. I just want to know whether or not I have to spend the money at a shop or if it's just something a bike mechanics noob can fix.

It could be as easy as your brakes rubbing even though you don't think they are. Loosen the two bolts on the disc brake that attaches it to the frame. Spin the wheel. If it moves more freely, that's your problem. Squeeze the brake to set it in place then tighten it up. If that's not the issue it could be one of the hubs on your wheels. Regardless, you should bring it to a shop if it isn't the brakes.

It probably got bumped a little bit. If you keep replacing brake discs every time one gets bent you will probably be replacing the every other week. It's not that big of a deal.

Bring it back to the shop you bought it from. Of they Rent willing to help you out, find a shop that will help you and support them forever.

If you don't know what your doing DON'T START MESSING WITH YOUR BIKE. Bring it to someone who does.

Bahahaha, oh yeah? How does one clip a rotor on a step while going down a set of stairs? Also I'm pretty sure that even a blind guy who has never ridden a bike could diagnose a bent rotor...
