So what if we could have a tv/video game that looked different from 2 directions, like those pictures where you look at them one way and its one image, another way its another image. You could play COD with a friend, sit on different sides of the room, and not have to worry about screencheating. You could watch 2 different tv shows or movies or whatever, you would just have to work around the sound being different. Yeah?
me neither the only use my xbox gets is netflix, but when I used to play halo and halo 2 on the original xbox I fucked screenlookers up. just sayinnnn.
I heard rumors that you could do this with Blackops on a 3D tv. One players screen was projected one way, the other player"s the opposite way. It all has to do with the lenses in the 3D glasses.
I saw a display of this in best buy the other day, except each player wears different glasses, if you don't have glasses then you see both players screens overlapped but if you put a pair on you only see that players 'screen'.
yeah saw one of these in australia the other week aswell.. wasnt a small tv either.. like 52" or something.. was pretty cool, two screens in one if youre wearing a pair of glasses... it was still pretty glitchy but hey its a step in the right direction.. i would never have thought something like this would exist, nor that there was any need for it either, but imagine what there will be in like 10 -15 years..
Or a TV that can be split in two and turned in opposite directions. OR a projector and you just make the backdrop form a | to a < and sit on either side
