you can do it with 3d TVs. if you project one image with a certain polarization and another image with an orthogonal polarization and make glasses with the lenses designed to pass a certain polarization and block the others you should be able to isolate one channel from any angle. one of the simplest ways to project a 3d image is to do something similar but then have the glasses have a lens for each polarization and the combination of what you see looks 3d...
we made a simple design for sharing the screen with two channels for one of my optics classes. i dont want to rain on you're parade, but it already exists. i know playstation was researching it and im pretty sure they released it but dont quote me on that.
