Do you have any idea of how stupid you sound? Are you even out of high school? I'm not sure if you've noticed but you're making a complete ass of yourself. I would try to argue against your points but its pretty clear that you're so biased on the subject that you'll never admit you're wrong no matter how much evidence is shown to you. I don't care if you do or do not smoke but I can't stand people like you who are so sure they know what they're talking about that they never stop to think that they may be wrong. And your "my friend almost died from weed" story is total bullshit. Have you ever seen anyone OD on something? It's a hell of a lot different then crying and curling up. It sounds like your friend smoked to much and freaked out- there's a big difference between being scared and not wanting to move and death. I'm sorry about your friend and I understand if you don't want to smoke after that but using that experience to judge other people's life choices is inexcusable.

Alcohol is relevant here. You said that the reason you don't smoke weed is that you don't want to die early. If this is the case, then you should definitely not drink alcohol as you are much more likely to die from this. Hell, you might as well stop skiing as skiing is much more dangerous way to spend your time than smoking weed. Also, while you have quickly shot down any evidence that suggests that weed is not dangerous, you have provided little evidence yourself, and instead you make claims like, "- Your heart rate increases, and you know what? that's a much bigger chance for a heart attack." A raised heart rate is not a sign that you are going to have a heart attack, and as someone else pointed out, skiing and physical activity also raise your heart rate.

negatively affects lung capacity but by no means does it cause cancer, COPD, emphysema, or any other chronic lung disorders. I'm ok with having a little less air intake, I'm no Olympic swimmer..

Oh and citing one source written by a biology 202 student doesn't count as citing your claims. Sorry.

I also apologize that my 10 second google search failed to yield perfect applicable new research to the topic at hand. Maybe if I wasn't dealing with a biased idiot I would put some more time into it. That will be all. Fuck yourself Mr. Singletrack.

the likelihood that it was laced is low, and while allergies are possible I'm gonna assume that his friend smoked a bunch with no tolerance, failed to realize how high he was gonna be (the first time, at least for me, it took a while to kick in) and just got too high. Having panic attacks isn't horribly uncommon, but it's also not life threatening nor a real reason to not smoke.

Im not trying to fight you about anything cause im on your side for the most part, but i dont know anyone who has gotten legitimately high on their first time smoking. it took me two or three separate times to really notice anything. and 1 gram is nothing to smoke, even for a first timer

you were doing it wrong. I don't know anyone that didn't get high their first time when they inhaled properly. Think about it... why wouldn't you get high? If you are inhaling the smoke that means your lungs are absorbing the THC. Why wouldn't the chemical effect you if it's in your bloodstream? Not getting high means you did it wrong. straight up.

1 gram is A LOT for a first timer. 1 gram will get anyone ripped as shit regardless of their tolerance.

you must be smoking dirt weed or something, because 1 gram can get me and a bud pretty high for a whole night, granted both of us have low tolerances. For a beginner 2 grams would be a ton. Especially since they wouldn't know how to handle their shit.

These threads are always the same, people ripping on the people who haven't smoked, people congratulating the people who haven't smoked, and people saying why and why not other people should smoke. If you're having fun doing it, go ahead and smoke, but there are consequences if you do get caught, and you will have to deal with them. If you don't enjoy it then don't do it, simple as that. And if you haven't tried it and don't feel like trying it, it's even simpler.

how is enjoying champagne and hard liquor weak?

i just haven't acquired a taste for wine yet and i've only had the chance to drink shitty beer. corona, heineken, and harpoon are actually pretty fucking good though, just didn't have the chance to try them until recently, i was stuck with fucking bud light, that stuff sucks.

these are my Pros and Cons about weed

Pros
-Get relaxed
-Gets me more creative when i'm cooking i can make the dankest combos when i'm high
-If i ever have pain (ive had kidney stones twice and i delivery ice for a living so my back is sore as shit every day) so you just don't think about the pain
-I have come up with 20 plus million dollar ideas when i'm high that i will make a million dollars off one day
- Helps me freestyle better
Cons
- Cost
- Stays in your system for 20-30 days and if you ever have a drug test you gotta take a couple weeks off which is not the end of the world
