Ski length???

Hi,,

Im about to buy new skis...

Im 185 cm tall and 76 kg. Im a pretty agressive skier and like to ride the park. I´ve been looking at the salomon suspect 2012.

Any suggestens?

get the closest size to 185, its better if you have it a tiny bit over your head

If you are more of a rail person get a pair of skis that are right at your nose but if you like jumps more then get a pair of skis that are the same height as you or taller.

longer length means you have more room to land back seat, or head over toes, it keeps you in your bindings, thats I you don't see people hitting jumps or riding to much in general with snow skates.

Better stability for landing. I'd for sure go for the longest size on the ski

the 2012 comes in a 186 and since they have tip/tail rocker they will ski shorter but the longer size will be more stable

I am 5'8 and trying to decide what size Kung Fujas either 169cm or 179cm I way about 153lbs. Also what size do I get in the line mr pollards opus?

i would get the 179. personally i like long skis but thats me. im 5'7" and 180 so im pretty solid and all my skis are over 180 (k2 179 is longer than my 185 blogs)

I just find shorter skis much more easy to control. Last year I had the Kung Fujas in 179 and I'm 182(I do realize that I wrote 185 in my question = mistake:))

Well in BC the skis was perfect length but ind the park I found them too long so this year I think ill go for 176 just to try it out!

I really do think its a matter of taste and preference when it comes to the length of skis but its great to hear peoples opinion!
