Okay so let's all pretend to stare at the ground or our phones so we never have to casually say hello to each other. Ohhh wait this already happens all the time
Also, just bought a Niner air 9 RDO (carbon) frame, easton ec70 seatpost and soon a niner rigid fork. So stoked for the new bike! Fuck BB30 cranksets though. Damn expensive.
Every time i see youre not fat ass post I want to remind you that youre not a gross fatass anymore...you know, encouragement for keeping up the good efforts.
I rode outside on my new carbon bike today for the first time, it was fucking amazing. You'll enjoy it.
I won the hill climb by more than a minute, stoked for that.
Unfortunately, during the criterium, some dumbass from MIT made somebody else crash, I went off road to avoid hit, went through some snow, and ran straight into a rock. I flatted (on a damn tubeless), and screwed the rim up a little. I was in the front pack and still had plenty of energy and could have placed in the top five. Instead, I've got a shit new tire that I had to run with a tube and had to drive 30 minutes each way to get. Fuck you, asshole.
It was my first college race, so I did D class; I'll do C next week. Both the Crit and Hill Climb had fields of 45 people for my division, but it varies.
I just want to see a video of it because it happened so fast and it was sick. I got the pass at point on a fast break, rolled around the defender then everyone else like backed off and i ripped a shot to 5 hole. Everything was rough from there because their team was pissed and just started hitting.
damn the countdown to the B&E inventational keeps reminding me how long I have until this shift is over. The 2nd night in a row with a 6-6 shift it is hard to find stuff to keep me occupied...
I sprained my knee a could weeks back so I've just been setting up features at my local park for my buddies to hit and it's super fun. Building a really sweet feature and having it work well is fucking awesome.
Lip on always scares me but they're fun as hell. On a skiing related note it looks like my season is done which is kind of a bummer. It's been a hell of a season though, and I'm happy to take the chance to reset and then kill it next season.
Ski building and gear developing season will be going down like crazy this summer though. While I would enjoy riding XC all summer again, I want to have a crazy assed quiver for next year. I'll be able to find a good balance between the two though.
