just kidding, looking mostly at Utah Valley University for their Hospitality program, then I want to eventually get into U of U's business school. Shooting for the travel biz, ya dig? predominantly the corporate one, like managing travel for companies and shit.

Small school? I graduated from a small school with only like 1000 graduates and they called my name. My siblings went to big universities and they didnt call their names. If its a big school just sneak on and walk anyway

Ya smaller school, I didn't want to walk anyways ha. My mom and grandma just went batshit when I told them I didn't want to. That's the only reason I was going to.

But that's weird that they didn't get their name called... I thought the bigger schools just divide the ceremonies up by departments to make them smaller

I think Oregon State has like 4k graduates per year. The have all the same majors walk at the same time but all departments walk during the same general cermony.

I totally fucked the flow of mine because after i got off stage and was walking to my seat a teacher got up from the middle of her dept to give me a hug. It literally stopped the entire ceremony for like 30 seconds

On the topic of stalled graduations, my highschool one got stalled twice. Once because a kid purposely tripped down the stairs off the stage ( there was a pool of money), and the second time for this:

The african american family was yelling and making fun of the teacher that was giving a speech. Another parent asked them to be quiet and told them they were being disrespectful and then the black people freaked out.

You and me both. Friend just called me up today and were planning a week long trip to the boundary waters in MN. Nothin but tents, fishing, beer and 4 friends that barely get to see each other anymore. So damn stoked

Where you putting in at? We used to launch north of Ely. Awesome times up there.

Just decided a few hours ago that I'm going to travel back to MN this summer with the sole intention of fishing. Looking forward to nothing but pike.

I think it was 11-12 or something like that. Some dumb bitch let off smoke bombs in the atrium, good times. Had to bake in the sun for 2 hours chilling in the stands.

Seniors were a bitches last year.

I'm from Rochester, so I'll be there for a bit.

I plan on fishing the Mississippi for a day for old times sake, then head north for some real fishing. I'll be up around Mille Lacs, and if I can manage it, I'll stop by my secret slice of pike fishing heaven for a day.

Hell ya my roommate has a cabin on Mille Lacs so i'm up there quite a bit. Otherwise i'm in the twin cities area bass fishing all the time.

Thankfully I won't be on Mille Lacs, but a smaller lake in the area. I prefer the smaller, low-key lakes if possible.

My secret spot is damn near impossible to get anything larger than a 15' aluminum boat in. That's by dragging it, or carrying in a short distance too. Definitely helps to use a small outboard so you can carry it separately until getting on the water, and packing as light as possible. If I don't make it up there for a day this summer, I'm already planning a two week trip there next summer. My favorite place to fish by far.

Went out for some pints with Magnus, we picked up some local slags but back home Magnus decided he couldn't hold his liqour and feel asleep on the toilet. Me and the girls had a blast do.

Spent the last three hours on oxygen after getting altitude sickness for the first time ever. I now have to cut my ski trip in half.
I did get a sick pow day at A-Basin so at least the trip started off well.

good ways of staying awake besides the obvious ones? (good breakfast, lots of coffee/energy supplements, etc.) I feel like I still haven't woken up at all today and need some ideas. Not much of a coffee or energy supplement guy but i am open to experience.

I'm guessing you need to stay awake in school... What I do is when ever I start to dose off I just eat a clif bar or some sort of healthy bar and it keeps me alert for the rest of my day.
