Still waiting around to go on a fire. I’m doing various landscaping and sawyer jobs while I wait. Still, even If I only go on 2 rolls before school starts it’s still like 30 grand in the bank account and I prolly wouldn’t have to work during the winter.

TOAST.I live in a more rural suburb and it's alright, have a partially wooded lot and nobody behind me. I don't see how people can live in ones where you gotta drive forever just to get out of the neighborhood. Also houses aren't too cookie cutter.
Grew up with forest all around our house and miss the privacy of that.
My sister is looking at a development in Florida sprawl, all her neighbors are on top of her, the houses look the same and there are no sidewalks. It’s less than a half mile to the community pool but a thirty five minute walk because of the road layout and state highway bisecting the development. No thanks.
was blanching fries at work and got a huge splash of fryer oil in my face and eyes. shit hurts but the massive amount of raw potatoes cooled down the oil so i don’t think i’m going to get blisters or any serious damage. thank fucking god.
playing volleyball under the lights. my girlfriend served it out of bounds and i jokingly said the sun was in her eyes. for some reason a girl on the other side of the net lost her shit came under and started to try and tackle me. unsuccessfully cause i am waaaay bigger than her but wtf?! i was so confused like is this a joke or is she actually heated? they left so assuming she was heated. idk if she thought i was talking shit to her or something but threw me way off lol
Ran some sprints today and maxed out at a 5:02 min/mile with most being around 6 min/mile It was only about 30 seconds at a time. My HM pace is about a 12 min mile. So obviously these speeds are waaaay fast for me. But damn it feels good to move that fast! I wish I could sustain it longer but I’m heavy (for running at least), have asthma, and my endurance is not great when it comes to speed. Lots to work on but still feels good. Also one more comment, I have no idea what my form looks like but you ever just know you’re doing it right because it feels good? Like I can’t critique others form or my own but it just feels strong and effective. You kind of know it when you feel it sort of thing? Idk. Anyways. Yeah, feeling good!

Yes very tasty honestly. Just gotta put the work in and cut the y bone out. I find the top filet method is the best and easiest to just avoid them. Oh and don't forget the cheeks. They're the best part

Pretty cool possible developments today at work. A Patrol Supervisor at Grand Targhee hit our team up out of nowhere to speak with our director about maybe achieving some sort of exchange program between our resorts or other smaller ski areas in the west. He's considering it and I'm gonna sell that fuckin idea so god damn hard. The 'Ghee is one of the most awesome ski areas and communities I've had the pleasure of seeing. I'll never forget the week I spent up there for an IFSAJ Comp coaching and all the rad homies I met or old friends I ran into, freezing our asses off in the Targhee Fog, seeing the Teets for the first time ever, and getting maybe a little bit too hammered at The Trap Bar. Plus that new terrain expansion on Mary's Nipple looks awesome.
Oh hell yeah, that'll mark 5 major conflicts (Iraq War, Afghanistan, Israel/Palestine, and now the war with Iran possibly) plus surviving a pandemic in my lifetime before I'm 30.

Targhee is my number 1 resort
but it sucks and no one should go seriously don’t go there. Terrible terrain, terrible snow, the lift lines are always awful.

going to war allows the president to have a lot more power and if he can do it with out a homeland attack, that’s a win. think about how much power the bush administration was able to gain after 9/11. also, think about the patriot act and the civil liberties we lost during that time of war or during covid etc. these type of things allow for massive government contracts and government control over the people. not saying that all were inside jobs or that the responses to those events weren’t legitimate. just pointing out the loss of freedoms and gain of power that followed.
if we enter a conflict, the trump administration will be able to justify a lot more actions they want to.
Theres a weird link between a French family owned wetsuit company called Manera and Full Tilt/K2. Im not sure what it is but Ill find out.
