Ski season is over now. Today was not too bad but weatherman fucked me again. It was supposed to be around 20 degrees and sunny. In reality it was 12 degrees and no sun.

yeah what b-rad said. biking is pretty big in scandi countries right? ive seen vids and stockholm has some indoor mtb parks that are great no matter the weather. emil is swedish after all lol. or go golfing. you give off golfer vibes with your clothing reveals lol. summertime sadness is entirely avoidable if you get in with a group of people you vibe well with.

I tried to skate for few years as a kid. It was usually in 2 month phases which is why I never really progressed. Concrete is scary. I fucked my ankle on a trampoline and never healed it properly. Obviously the result from that is the ankle can't take the stress from skateboarding. Now I have almost brand new complete sitting in my room. + I don't like the atmosphere at the local skate park so no thanks.
I will try ride my bike this summer. It got boring in the past. Trails around here are mostly flat and full of roots which makes it impossible to carry speed. For some reason god decide to place the shit forests here and the good ones somewhere else. Anyway I have ridden everything tolerable inside 20km radius from home. There is really nothing left to explore in that radius. Lastly I don't want to get killed by mosquitos. There is also those bastard snakes. I rode over a viper last year which will never happen again. I hate snakes. I forgot to blame the bike. One of the requirements for it was to be cheap enough so Mohammed would take it from the school yard. It doesn't really fit into the terrain I have. Bad for the rooty trails and bad for roads. Gravel bike would probably be better for me. Mountain(Forest???)biking is not it. (We all know the bike is not the problem)
I'm going to run like maniac but it's not enough to fill the gap.
Honestly moving would fix like 95% of my hobby problems.
TLDR: Kalmar is a pussy, Kalmar prefers to make excuses instead of doing things and FUCK SNAKES

it’s okay to be bad at things homie. once you convince yourself that everything thrown your way can be seen as a lesson and a growth opportunity, everything becomes more enjoyable.

I missed this earlier but actually this right here is what has made skating so enjoyable for me lately. Everyday is a profession towards growth and progress. Emotionally, physically and skill wise.

growing up i went to some fuckin wild skateparks around southern colorado. unregulated teens and burnout fuckups, fights, titties, drugs i never heard of, shit even saw someone get shot at (they missed). it was fuckin awesome. i smoked so much weed and went to way too many parties with the people i met. what the hell were my parents thinking lol.
mountain town skateparks are sick though. the average person is a ripper typically. except the fuckin scooter kids. it’s getting bad. some fuck on nitro circus who also slays on a bmx also scooters and is making it too popular. if there was ever a 24 hour purge, i’d be targeting strictly scooter kids
There’s still some of that but it’s hilarious how much the scene has changed. I really only see that retro burnout vibe at D Park now.

I'm not sure what the situation is now but 4-5 years ago it was full of scooter kids from 9 am to 9pm. It was too hectic. Almost no skateboarders at all. In the evening it starts to change to people I definitely do not want to hang out with. I have no idea where the skateboarders are but they were not at the local.

Snapmap is so underrated. Only idiots post on the map publicly but theres so many all over the world. You can just tap anywhere and see what the gobbys are up to. Times coming to start my snapmap personal creature collection.
my method of finding new music is to go to a band's spotify page and cue songs from bands under the "fans also like" tab. unfortunately for me it always converges to some real shitty emo or genre's such as depressive suicidal black metal lol

walking at sunset at a lake in denver and my gf hears a bird in the tree next to us. i said where is it and she said right above us and jokingly said it’s gonna poop on us. i look up and boom right on my chest. im so glad it wasn’t my face though lol.
Why does drinking energy drinks come in phases. Last spring I drank them. Trough fall and early winter I didn't really drink them. Now It's like 3-6 cans of Nocco or Redbull per week. Lately on some days it feels impossible to get trough the day without one. Sometimes I might even drink one, take 2hr nap straight after and fall asleep at 10.30pm without problems.
