CoolChillGuy420ER Tech. It's a lot to take-in so far but it is so interesting and it provides so much learning experience. The only issue is I'm on the bottom of the totem pole as they say so a set schedule is hard to come by. It's a week-by-week availability thing. I'm just a rookie trying to figure it out ya
are you good at drawing blood yet? my new job i dont get to do it sadly. I used to never miss however i always had to set the tubes down on a hard stick when switching, a lot of the ER techs and nurses I saw could flip em through their fingers 1-2-3

So there’s this girl I’m dating (semi long distance). Like her a lot not just sex. But she’s in a very dark space again with depression and anxiety. We just texted and I asked her if she needed a time of from seeing each other because I noticed she had other shit to deal with. Shit sucks big time. Hurts to know I won’t be seeing her but would suck even more if I didn’t give her the space she really needs. Now excuse me while I write depressing songs and try to escape this shit hole of feelings in the mountains

Not yet but my first day involves IV class, which is kinda cool. A lot of what I'll be learning is technically above my scope as an EMT because EMT's on an ambulance/ski patrollers can't administer drugs or put in orders for them. We can only help patients administer stuff
