so basicly last year my bro got a longboard from his rich ass friends for his birthday. He never used it and left the thing outside all the time, and now the bearings are all rusted up. I bought it from him and need new ones, does anyone know what are the nice pair for a low price? thanks guys, +k for help
get some bones red or super reds. Cheap and very nice. Really when it comes down to it just clean them. Yours may still be alright if you clean them who knows though.
I'm also a huge fan of Bones Reds. I got mine probably 6 years ago thinking I would eventually upgrade to ceramics. After this time, my wheels still spin for days on those bearings and I see no reason to upgrade. Like everybody has said, just take care of them. Try to clean them once a month at least. Whenever you notice they look nasty, clean them. The results are noticeable. Like skis, keep the board inside (garage doesn't count if you live in a humid area). If you care for your board you will be amazed how well it works.
i have some sector 9 cosmics and some abec rush 5's. they are both pretty solid. but as it was said earlier, and bearings will be nice with some care and attention.
