In Sony Vegas HD Platinum 10, what is the best format to do videos with, specifically with a GoPro (I know, but it's something relatively HD that I could afford). There's different things such as HDV, Internet Video, etc. if you know what I am talking about. +K for good answers.

For real though, if you're talking about rendering...


I render the video in quicktime using the avid DNxHD codec. Then I take this big file into mpeg streamclip and compress it into H.264. That tends to work pretty swell.
