I love the beat to 6'7, i just think the guy is an interesting and think he is creative.

IMO I just think it is so stupid how some people compare somebody alive today to people who died MORE than 15 years ago. They are dead and yes they are the kings of hip hop but fucking let it go and stop comparing. People should be happy that he is not trying to be reincarnations of Pac and Biggie let him do his own thing

i agree with this, there is a big difference between rap 15 years ago and rap today.
on the other hand, in mr. carter on tha carter three, i distinctly hear him mention not to forget him when you "pop tupac and biggy" so im on the fence.

If you think Wayne is not talented as an artist you probably don't know much about music... you might not like his music but he has talent. Some of his stuff is shit (Rebirth) but the Carter II is a very good album and some of his mixtapes are great.

Agreed. He puts out so many mixtapes that it's great for his hardcore fans, but some of them are pretty terrible.

Also, his songs have meaning, you just have to look for them.

the "generic beats" are because of the thousands mixtapes that he produces, cant all be good, like every artist.
And his "meaningless lyrics" might be to you, but you also most likely have the complete opposite culture as him. therefor "misunderstanding".
Lil wayne has a lot of talent at what he does. No doubt about it.

If you think his mixtapes are shitty, you've probably never listened to any of them, start to finish. And if you think he has no talent, you're probably making generalizations of him as an artist based off of the shit music he has come out with. Most of the most talented, successful artists come out with some shitty music in certain stages of their career. Can't wait for Carter IV
