fine this is my view on drugs:

i think that they should not be legalized for the fact that many more people will be doing them than there alrdy is. i dont think that its wrong to do them once in a while cuz i know that shit happens, but i dont like it when sum people, not to mention any names, post on forums or talk about how they got high last night or post on a forum about it

Think about how many people you know who smoke dope because it's illegal, just to make themselves feel like a bad man. There are so many positive aspects to legalization. Think about how much money could be made from the sale and saved in the legal system, you should be more concerned about more important shit.

Fuck son, were talking about a plant. Lets look at what else is up in the united states. Lets talk about the Embargo on cuba, or how bout the fact that 53 percent of all African americans are still living in the ghetto. Or how bout the average visual minority is making at least 10 grand less than the average white person. What about the environment?? What about the education system? What about all of this privitization bullshit? What about capitalism, it's motherfuckers like you who waiste your fucking life. I'm not trying to come off all mad at you or anything because I understand its the system and you are a complete product of it. I would suggest you go and read some books and recognize there are far more pressing problems than a harmless weed that has been around for centuries.

Yeah, I feel you, I would suggest you try it before you hate on it though. I agree that it is abused but I and many of my friends don't use to get away, I'm not going to say it takes me to another level because that is generally horseshit but it does make me much more creative and intelligent in some respects. Although I have to respect that you can take such a stand with such a high number of users around

well another problem i have with drugs is how its not only a way to get high but its like a style. i choose not to do drugs and therefore i am more nieve and less mature then people who have done it.

and c lo next time you should actually read about what im saying rather then just a product of the system. it doesnt look to good on your behalf

hey ski2824, just let him have his opinion. i smoke as much weed as anyone on here, but dont go off on someone just cause they are against it. that is the first article ive seen against weed but i have seen like 5 or 6 for it, and noone would get into a fight over it. people would discuss it calmly, but you seem like your really upset over it. just let him have his opinion cause u arnt going to change it just by swearing at him

if it gets legalized, there will be a legal age to buy it, most likley 18 or 21. also it will be a lot safer cause the government can make sure that it isnt laced with anyhting

and lineskier i think that kids would still be able to buy it if it became legalized..i think that you would just walk up into a small convienient store and just buy it even if ur not the legal age, like with cigarettes

Legalization would most definatly have a legal age. And it would prob be 21 due to its altering effects. Thus still making it illegal for you to smoke, and I doubt it would really be any easier tog et then it is now.

Guys, i used to smoke, so I don't hate you, just don't kill the guy for his views, and just ebcause someone believes sometin different then you, no matter what, does not make them ignorant.

And C_Lo, if i didn't know better, i would call you a moron, because no matter how valid the points you bring up, often the way you present them, demeans you.

Legal, or not legal, makes no difference to me, because burners will burn no matter what.

I always thought that in both Canada and the US you were supposed to be free to your own opinions and thoughts... So why is everyone getting so fuckign defensive about???

I have never smoked adn honestly dont plan to but if you guys wanna go smoke up thats ur choice and all the power to ya... Legalization has its pros and cons and who ever said it 'where do we draw the line?' i agree with him... But what amazes me is the fact that someone thinks that they know all and thinks that they should be able to have the power to put an age on substances, when they think that we will be able to handel it.. I mean many 40 yr olds cant control themselves when they drink...

how quickly can you guys get (legal) alcahol? how quickly can you get (illigal) weed? i dont know about you guys, but it would take me at least a couple days to get a six pack or a bottle of vodka, but i could have an ounce here within 5 minutes.

a agree with this last point, i can get as much weed as i want in about 2-3 hours, it takes me 1-2weeks to get alcohol. making weed legal will make it harder for kids to get it

yes for kids to get but for adults?

also i still dont agree with putting an age limit on it. look at cigarettes any kid can get them with a little effort or can just ask sum1 else to get it for them

i can booze in about 2 hrs... whenever we can get a car and cash and drive to the liquor store... i guess cause all u guys are american and ur drinking age is so much higher then in ontario but for me its a matter of seeing my buddies have a spare that day adn that I have the cash and I can have it by the end of classes... not that rough!

I've been split on this issue for a long time myself.... I guess what I've come up with, is that drugs should be legal- but no one should want to do them.

adults, its their body, who are you to tell them what to put in it? who am i to tell you you cant drink, or smoke cigarettes, or take asprin, or throw yourself down the stairs. some people might view new school skiing as a sport dangerous to your health, should we have a law against it? and dez, allthought, yes kids would still be able to get it if they realy wanted to, like with anything, but whats easier? calling your friend down the street and getting as much weed as you can pay for, or dealing with fake id's, trying to bum it off people, and begging people to buy it for you. which do you think provides more weed to underage kids?

well ski even tho alot of gas stores and stuff like that wont sell cigs to minors if you find the right place they will give it to u anyways ive seen it dozens of times and it would prob b the same if weed was legalized. also wouldnt the price go down?

okay...think of it this way...if tobacco was illegal, how easy would it be for you to get a pound of tobacco? pretty damn easy. now go try to get a couple cartons of cigarettes.

another point to ponder, if these regulation laws dont work, why dont we have no age limit for cigarettes? you dont think this would be a good idea? well having somthing illigal is just like having no age limits, except you can get as much as you want and the transaction is shadier.
