Character Customization

So, not only can you pick the general look of your character based on your first perk selection, you will also be able to buy shit to alter his appearance. One of the things I can confirm is the Face Paint option. There are 21 different choices that can be purchased, with the top thirteen being $500. They are the following:

Highlander
Sidewinder
Martis
Millitia
Apache
Sandman
Zulu
Blitz
Commando
Tundra
Banshee

Offline MP with AI confirmed


Game Modes

Normal

  • Team Deathmatch (12 players)
  • Merc Team Deathmatch (No parties)
  • Free for All (8 players, no really large maps)
  • Domination (12 players)
  • Ground War (18 players, TDM and DOM, no super small maps)
  • Search & Destroy
  • Capture the Flag (12 players)
  • Headquarters (12 players)
  • Demolition (12 players)

Hardcore

  • Team Deathmatch (12 players)

The ANTE UP (Free-for-all based, 6 players, low buy-in, parties allowed) category includes:

  • One in the Chamber
  • Sticks and Stones - tomahawk, knife, and crossbow only
  • Gun Game - You unlock a better gun with each kill...and lose a "level" with death instead of starting from the beginning
  • Sharpshooter

Wager Match-- gamble your COD points for a bigger pay day. Top 3 get the cash.

Contracts - They look to be the replacement for challenges now. Contracts help you earn more CoD money throughout the game, but they do expire within a certain time-frame and in order to complete them in the future, it looks like you will have to buy them back.

11/17 (full title update)
- Improved matchmaking to find matches significantly faster
- Improved matchmaking to ensure that players are more effectively matched to games with the best networking conditions
- Improved host selection to ensure that the best host is always selected in the pre-game lobby
- Improved party system to ensure that parties don’t get broken apart
- Disable ability to join Private Match, Combat Training and Theater lobbies when searching for Player Match games
- Server-side and game-side changes to decrease the amount of failed Film uploads
- Weekly and Monthly leaderboards will now track all kills, deaths and assists properly (All Time leaderboards were not affected by this)
- Prevention of Combat Training stats getting crossed with Player Match stats under rare conditions
- Prevention of temporary loss of functionality when a button was being held down at the point of a disconnect
- Additional fine-tuning of audio levels and ranges for footsteps and gunfire
- Additional fine-tuning of audio levels for bomb plants/defuses
- Additional online security enhancements

Only played 2 nights and i'm only a level 16 so i'm pretty much a newb but I have some questions:

What is the game mode where everyone starts with a pistol and you upgrade your gun with each kill?  That looks sick but I can't find it.  And how do you play one in the chamber?  Have I just not unlocked these game modes yet?

Not really, it is tough to play with a shitty connection. I dealt wit hit for CoD 4 and MW2 then I moved & have a way better connection. and Black Ops came out.

I played my friend's xbox yest. and am looking at getting the newer one. I saw that his was connected to his modem/wifi?, and was wondering would there be a difference in connection if I bought the newer one with built in wifi, yet my wifi isn't too stable? Hope someone understands my question

Sick game overall but im not thrilled with the online graphics, idk maybe it's just my shitty connection. Story line is pretty good and the graphics are unreal, but i definitely liked sniping a lot better in MW2. Just my .02

zombies is such a piss off. We get to level 29 and then each time we always run out of ammo and end up all running around the map turning on traps and shit and it never ends and we lose. More max ammos should drop, like every other round or something, because usually just getting it from the dogs sucks, or whenever you don't need one because the dogs just came, you get a max ammo and it does shit all for you.

No they do not. your K/D stays the same, you don't earn experience, and no stats for guns or challenges and such are recorded.

There's different games setup for different amounts. There's 3 levels dedicated to the amount you wager. Level 1 is really cheap and you can play with a party, while level 3 is expensive but you cant choose the game mode like the other 2.
