Damnnn what a come up, what size and where did you get it?
seriously Saga had the game in a choke hold till about 2012, but this, the beaver and scuba suit were amazing. Wish we could bring back the OG-first 5 years of Saga and LDC
bennwithtwonsback in 06/07, a girl i was hanging out with showed me a website i'd never heard of: sagaouterwear.com
i was blown away by the style and fit but was too poor to afford anything at the time. 18 years later, this arrived in the mail!

Pants are L
Jacket is M (which is a bit of a shame) but I wasn't gonna let that stop me
random ebay find
PartyBullshiitWhy don’t we have these in the states? They’re so good. Feel like ketchup chips would be super American too
Huh, never knew you did not have them, they are one of my favourites. Get ruffles all dressed while you are up here too. And if you are a salt and vinegar fan (I am not) canadian miss vickies are way stronger and better apparently.

Had a bag of all dressed as well. Love those. Ruffles actually did those in the states for a while as a limited edition. They did a couple different ones from different countries. All dressed was ten Canadian one.
Buddy got sent some recently. Look good been holding up so far.
bennwithtwonsSome used saga pants and some new Karlov pants. First pair of non-saga pants I’ve purchased in probably 10 years. Curious to see how they go.
Thinking in my head the other day, I thought, do people still buy CD's? Thank you for answering my question!
I truly miss the days of being able to go into a record/cassette/CD store and wandering around, listening to samples of current artists, smelling the smells, looking at posters to buy. Lots of good memories.
that used to be my go to skate shoe from elementary school till high school
BradFiAusNzCoCaTime to start breaking in the cupsole on the new skate shoes that arrived today. Gotta get them broken in before current shoes bite it (not long now)
total 530 cad for boots and skis is pretty good. gonna have to upgrade boots at some point but i should be happy with the skis for a long time
my dad and i accidentally had a competition who could get an ok pin setup for cheaper. somehow he found a set of almost brand new kingpins on decent 2013 atomics for 275 and with boots ended up at 440. I’ll take the L i guess but my skis are much lighter ha.

I have 3 cd flipcases in my car, maybe 60̷-70̷ discs?
BradFiAusNzCoCaI always felt like 22lr was underrated. I had a Marlin model 60 in my younger years I use to go plinking with.
I agree 100%. Also as much as I like shooting I really enjoy not spending money and you can have a ton of fun with .22 for like $20 worth of ammo. A good bolt action .22lr is next on my list. Thinking some iteration of cz 457. I shot that ruger for the first time yesterday and it was a blast and a half.
CZ’s are really well made. I’ve got a post war Czech Kar98k (they call it an N98 for German 98) from their factory. When the Germans invaded, they used to purposely make defects in German arms as a way of sabotage. The postwar ones were built from these retooled parts.

PartyBullshiitFinally getting into whole fresh beans. So many choices out there.
my ex inlaws had a coffee machine as an alarm clock. they would load it with fresh beans and fill the water reservoir and then set the time. when it went off it would grind the beans and wake you up. then they would shower and get out to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. they developed a great morning routine.

My gf’s mom has one like that. She absolutely loves it. I’m just using a standard drip machine atm. I grind enough beans for whatever we plan to drink and brew it. Going down the rabbit hole of coffee and brewing is pretty wild. The equipment gets expensive really fast. I joined two subscriptions so I can try a bunch of different roasters and types of coffees to get a ln idea of what I really like.

i used my french press to make cold brew. i put the grounds and water in and throw it in the fridge overnight or a few days even. idk if your supposed to do something different but seems to work well

Cold brew is my next venture. The gf has one of those electric kettles with the tea infusers so gonna try using that

What ratio of coffee to water do you use?
Every time I make cold brew I end up with super strong almost syrupy coffee that tastes incredible but gives me insane jitters.

Based off everything I’ve read the initial brew is a concentrate you’re suppose to mix with either more water or milk. 1:1 ratio. So if you’re just drinking the original brew alone you’re getting mad caffeine. Especially if you brew it for 24 hours.

in the french press i do just above where the strainer rests so when i do push it down, it squeezes just a bit more out lol. typically, after i add water to it, ill mix it with a knife. sometimes if i remember ill give it a stir mid way through. cold brew is typically much stronger and also naturally tastes a bit more sweet and less bitter and it doesnt burn my tongue lol. so i am a fan for sure
Basically exactly what I do whenever I do French press
