Just made the best deal in a long time on some new bike shoes. About 12$ for these, thought for sure they just wrote the wrong price on the tag or something until I asked.
Pretty ugly in white but only color in my size. Cant wait to test them out in the bike park next weekend, should be a huge upgrade from my currently used old running shoes.
Picked up a new coffee grinder today. Still needs a bit of fine tuning to get it where I need to be for my machine, but it's a nice change from my old one.
I need to buy a jacket that fits me so i can actually hike without tripping over a xxl anomie, and theres a sick dakine goretex jacket on evo for 175, but i need to buy season passes next week, fffuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkk
BatemanI'm gonna go ahead and claim I'm friends with Pierre Ange and Paul. Semi-know Lotta.
nice books. good luck with ulysses
that's cool, what are they like in real life? if you ever want to hook up a prospective fashion student with some contacts you know where to go... haha
thanks, mainly bought ulysses because it was a nice edition, fully expect to not get very far with it but i still find it interesting

Did the same thing with ulysses.
They're nice and friendly. Paul's the guy who got me into modeling. He walked up to me at a bar in Paris, then introduced me to Pierre-Ange and the others, whom I did my first shoot with.
He's sick of fashion though so don't know what you'd do together, contact wise.
And paul is busy as fuck studying at CSM in london while doing a whole other load of crap

I always got the vibe that Paul would be really nice. I didn't realise he was at CSM! Heading down there for the open day in a couple weeks, thinking of applying there among others although I'm pretty unsure of my chances.

how do you mean he's sick of fashion?
well he's been doing it a lot and would like to change it up a bit. He doesn't like beeing known as 'the vetements photographer' only.
He talked about an exhibition around march. probably in paris
Threw away a fs air cause I was blinded by the sun and my board landed right on the tail, which promptly lost quite a large chunk. Now it's super thin and liable to explode so it's time.
Just picked up a Nikon d5100 along with Nikon 55-200 and Ronikon 8mm lenses. I really only wanted the 8mm to play with, but the guy I bought it from was selling everything for about $100 more than every other seller was asking for just the 8mm on kijiji (i.e. - craigslist). Keeping the 8mm and selling everything else.
I'll probably end up making money (although that will probably go towards another lens)
