Let's get this thread goin now that shit's finally starting up again. After taking part in Gnartron's playoff thread last season, I thought it'd be nice to have one thread going all season, where anyone can talk about any game, any team, any trades, etc.

Dude, Canucks fans are still giving Boston players a standing ovation and cheering for them. They were BOOING Gary Bettman because he's a douchebag. NOBODY LIKES BETTMAN. They were chanting "Bring out the cup" before he came out.

Uhhh, I'm still watching and Im pretty sure they're still cheering every time the cup gets passed to a new player. God bandwagon fans are retards... anyone who knows shit about the NHL knows about the lockout, player disputes, charing winnipeg an extra 60million "transfer fee" for moving a franchise there are generally NOT STOKED on Gary Bettman. Hence the booing Gary Bettman talking then cheering once it got passed to players.

Guys, chill... Bettman gets booed every year when he comes out. everyone cheered and applauded for the Bruins and I doubt you'll find anyone in this city saying they didn't deserve it. this is tough to take but, maybe next year. The Canucks will still be a good team and a contender. for now, enjoy the moment, Bruins fans. Especially the ones who attended the home games, you made a difference in the series.

Its easy to cheer for a city that always wins.....

Heart break hotel Vancouver. I think I'm staying in tonight, 100 000 pissed off people isn't my idea of a good time.That being said, congrats Boston on a hard fought playoffs, you beat an arguably more talented Canucks. Thomas had one the most impressive playoffs ever, and a well deserved champion. And please guys, the boos were not directed to the Bruins, that was an ovation for Thomas.

Learning experience for Vancouver, hopefully they get a chance to win next year, and Luongo can get a chance clear his mind and rebound. I really felt this was the year a Canadian would win it again, and there had been a buzz in Vancouver all season, they played their hearts out, came one step short, they'll learn for it.

Well Boston, enjoy winning every sport.. Atleast we have good skiing :p

I almost felt bad for Luo, he seems like he's a respectable guy but he really let his team down tonight.

Im so glad the bruins won. they deserve it way more than the canucks do especially after what luongo said. he may have won a gold medal but i feel like hes cursed himself from ever winning the cup. Tim Thomas was unbelievable throughout the entire series and all I can say is that the Canucks would get shut out in game 7. pathetic

Congrats Boston - I feel sick but you deserved it, no doubt.

Sedins, a terrible PP, Ehroff and Luongo all let the Canucks down and ultimately we couldn't overcome these aspects.

We were beat up, slow, complete shit on the power play and Boston earned it.

Karma for Burrows, Lapierre & Co.'s shenanigans.....but Boston pulled plenty of shit too.

Here's to forgetting about TV and not watching any for the next 4-5 months.
