a point i want to make. first off im a bruins fan, but very unbiased, i pegged the canucks to win the cup back in october.
The Sedin brothers need to learn to play north american style hockey.
Theyre still stuck on swedish hockey, where they play more of a Canadiens/Lightning style of hockey: lots of speed and finesse. theyre not going to get any sympathy from the refs in the stanley cup final games. when the goalie covers the puck, theres going to be a scrum in front of the net, almost always, its just the nature of the game. So when Brad Marchand is punching you in the face, stick up for your damn self and play physical instead of asking the refs for a penalty. Its the nature of North American hockey, theyre not going to change decades of tradition because of what youre used to in europe.
That being said, on paper the canucks are the better team hands down. no questions asked. but hockey isnt played on paper. so go b's baby.
