Go pro helmet mount

ive got a go pro coming in  the mail tmro, was wondering where most people are mounting it on their  helmet...i havent seen the mount yet so i gues some of my questions may be answered when i do, but i was wondering if the top center would work to aim it both forward and backward? ...depends on how the mount works.  and that might look weird mounted in the middle? 

i plan to get the handlebar mount too and get some creative  mounts on my bike frame

i haven't mounted mine on my head. i just use the helmet strap because i can put it on my friend's helmets too.

but realistically the gopro has been on my helmet or someone else's like 10% of the time, it's just nice for follow cams and messing around

I mounted it on the front center of mine, so it could look down pretty much where my eyes are. I bought it for skiing as a supplement to the camera I already have, so it really wasn't meant to be all that creative, just filler shots/new angles to cut with the shots from my real camera.

Basically, you're looking at my helmet head on, you're pretty much looking at the mount. It sits on the front, right in the middle.

cool, thanks! i had forgotten bout how you want it to be able to look down like  ur eyes do. 

also, how well does the strap work? i like the idea of not having it permanent on my helmet, but figure that  the strap isnt as sturdy or safe as the actual mount

yeah! side could be a good way to aim it both ways and not have a wierd ass thing sticking up off ur helmet, and with the triple arm thing, it should work? i think, good idea

yea my friend has it mounted on the side. heres a vid of it mounted on the right side.
