I'm sorry, I know that this debate has ended but I just want to share my point of view on this fucker's essay.

Listen, I was raised poor... like DIRT poor. I've lived in Park City my whole life in a one bedroom one bath with my mother. The toilet was our living room.

Who was living around us?? Crips and Bloods, Park City surprisingly had problems as well. Where I lived it was Mexicans coming from Rose Park. Now you want to talk to me about being gangster?

When I got my first pair of skis (1 1/2) my mom struggled to pay rent that month. When I started to get more involved in the park scene I started to discover tall tees and baggy pants. But what, do I look at them the same way I look at gangsters, FUCK NO.

You need to go to school as well, I don't know how the fuck they were being ignorant if you even know what the fuck that means. You're an ignorant asshole who barely knows anything about freestyle skiing. Tall tees and baggy snowpants is something that has been looked at by the skiing community as a common freestyle skier. I don't give a flying fuck either about wether you would show this edit to your friends or not, oh and by the way.... Tanner makes skiers look bad because he IS the stereotype that all skiers are stoners.

It's a fucking edit, grow a dick... stop complaining and enjoy the damn thing.

Fucking kids these days so ignorant....

I don't really know where to begin with you. And for the record, this is the only 100% serious post I have made in this thread so far.

We will start with what I quoted. Tall tees and baggy clothing is seen as a fashion fad that young skiers are foolishly following. Most skiers laugh at you for the same reason they laughed at my friends and I for our studded belts and tying comp bibs to our legs. It loosed stupid, and doesn't really make sense. They don't see really see it as freestyle skiing, they just see it as stupid. However I am not surprised that you think it is a standard theme among freestyle skiers, since you seem very self centered.

As for growing up poor dirt poor, living in one bedroom/ one bath, where the architect/contractor some how managed a complete fuck up and re-routed the plumbing into the living room. That sounds really shitty. I have spent part of my life in a 1 bedroom/ 1bath too, except the contractor who built it managed to get the toilet in the bathroom. I am very sorry you were less fortunate.
That must have been a hard life, sorry your mom sold blow jobs to pay for her crack baby. Now on to that nifty jibberish and level 1 stuff you just bought, that stuff does not come cheap, so you are either a worthless thief or not dirt poor.

And Tanner is not the reason many people see people like you as complete stoners. No, the reason people like you are seen as stoners is because you use an avatar that claims smoking until you pass out, and complain about not being able to get into a group of other stoners so you could discuss getting high. That is why people view you as a stoner, because you are a stoner.

Also just out of curiosity, does Head Skis, your proclaimed sponsor, know you just got a pair of EP pros that your supper excited about?

I have a job, a small house, and a ton of friends.

What can I say, I'm new(er) to newschoolers. However every statement above is almost completely done by making assumptions.

You really think that tall tees and baggy pants aren't seen as a common freestyle skier fad? Well take a look at who is looking at us and laughing, gapers. MOST of the experienced skiing community looks at them and laughs.

Also,

I have this thing called a 215 card, it's something given to very ill people in order to treat symptoms. Now I really don't want to discuss my illness but the symptoms it was treating was... Eating disorder, anxiety of dieing, and pain. So I am a stoner and that thread about complaining about the 420 cult was mainly to troll. I don't give a fuck about that clan.

Last but not least my EPs,

I won a pair of hellbents in a rail jam and I recently demoed EP pros. So I sold my hellbents and bought myself EP pros, (paid an additional $20 at the shop) so instead of making assumptions you can tell it how it is.

Actually now I think that you're just a fucking poser... from everybody I heard from, you're just a poser who has been trying to freestyle ski but can't and a kid that won't even stand up in real life.

Oh and that urban dictionary bull shit, thats the incorrect definition. Ignant.... well best you not know.

holy fucking shit man, you really are coming off sounding like a prick and are taking this shit WAY too seriously. first of all, you took a debatable difference in opinion between you and jib-in-my-pants, then started making personal insults, even making fun of his poor upbringing and calling his mom a whore. really cool man, good to know someone in the ski world has a level head and isn't advocating immaturity the way you say henrik and phil are.

secondly, nobody takes this shit seriously at all, especially people outside of the ski world. people outside the ski community couldnt give a rats ass if a random skier seems like he's acting thug, they would pass it off as being retarded and not worry about it for more than 2 seconds. and thats a good thing!! this is our community, and its a community thats out to have as much fun as humanly possible. if people think its dumb, then fuck them they dont need to be a part of it. thats whats awesome about freestyle skiing, its small enough where it doesnt really have to change to fit the mainstream and a pretty wide range of styles are accepted, but still big enough that we can find fellow freestyle skiers all over the world and have a good time together.

so if you want skiers to change their style just so we're more presentable to the rest of the world then thats honestly a legitimate opinion that i respect, but don't expect too many skiers to agree with you. everyone else is too busy looking stupid and having fun
