Cobra- you are making some pretty grand assumptions (and accusations) here. Not everyone will like the vibe of this edit, nor are they expected to. I think it's time to step off the pedestal and go start a brush fire elsewhere. It is, after all, just a ski edit, and I can think of quite a few other things that are "ruining" skiing's image far worse than this. And back to the main topic, the skiing in it is to me some of the freshest stuff to come out of a park this season.

i could be wrong, but i'm guessing there were plenty of kids who liked pop yer bottlez. either way, it happened--it was put out there as a representation of pro skiers.
about the arrest, i could be wrong, but i remember it being at the US Open in Vail, at a bar. Tanner and co were talking shit like "do you know who I am?"  Definitely more than a noise complaint. More like how I described it--trying to act hard.   otherwise, why would he have been so ashamed afterward and issuing public apologies etc?

Well no doubt thats a cocky drunk guy...but i dont see what that has anything to do with 2 short white guys... actually im not to sure what all the hates about. The "mean muggin" shots there making strange faces or smiling (handshake at the end was stupid). There was no hand gestures although the sweatshirt sizes could come down a few notches(jesus henrick). Everyone just needs to shut the fuck up about "having fun" im sick of hearing that its an excuse for anything. How about we just enjoy the edit and be stoked on the amount of style these guys have.

You're the one thats being immature, along with all the other so called "mature" members of this site (yes you: casual, cobra, etc) that are criticizing this video for the same reasons. Being mature would mean that you would have the sense to respect people's right to display skiing how they want, not crying and picking something apart because it doesn't represent your particular view of skiing. Didn't we all get into this sport so we could do whatever we wanted with it- without any structure or responsibilty? I know I did. So let me ask you and all the other "wigger" police, what's you're ideal view of skiing? Making everyone dress/ski/act the way you want? I bet you and Uncle Adolf would get along pretty well. I'm not saying you don't have the right to dislike something, but grow the fuck up, get of your high horse, and stop condeming everyone who's idea of what's fun or cool is different than yours.

I respect the actual "skiing" here. if you read my previous posts you would see that i actually like the "skiing" aspect of this edit. They can act they way they want for sure, and look like idiots in the process. My gripe is this, i personally grew up in a very urban enviroment, hung in the projects as a kid with inner city urban people, and to see two non american kids act like they have half a clue about being a real g, or thug is just a complete total friggon laugh. how does skiing combine with this skit?? it just doesnt. They are fakes, and frauds, and if that seems cool and or fun for you than fucking awesome. great for you. but for me it is just a laughing joke, we ski, we dont make scrilla grills and have money signs to make us look cool. just fucking ski. period. and i know for a fact, that if i took these two into the real hoods i grew up around they would be hated on, laughed at, and probably beat the fuck down by real g's who wouldn't tolerate thier lame cheesy skit any more than me, cobra, etc. If these two were to walk into any hood playing the trak of this edit, and acting the way they did they would be stomped with a quickness. n-----, is reserved for black skinned and only black skinned to represent and use. period. its a matter of respect.

Honestly, how do any of those lifestyle shots qualify as "acting gangster" anyways? It's about 3 seconds of them looking at the camera. It's because of their hats? Really? I've had a hat like that since the early 90's, I used to wear it on the glacier all the time because it keeps the sun off, how the hell does wearing a sunhat mean a person is "acting gangster"? Toben Sutherland wears one of those hats in the movie 13, yet somehow he managed to go on to live a life of "responsibility and structure" and is a great father now, who would have guessed?

Or is it the song that has your panties all bunched up? Does liking rap music mean you think "it's fun to act gangster". I liked all the Friday the 13 movies when I was a kid, and despite the moral majority's claims that it "glorified" serial killers, I simply saw it as entertainment. And no, I didn't then, nor do I now, think that "there's anything fun about serial killings".

In reality, it was an edit that was 99% skiing, and a few seconds of two guys looking at the camera (while smiling). Your rants make it sound like these guys released an edit of themselves curbstomping the camera with timberlands, flashing ak47s and stacks of cash, and dealing crack. If they had actually done that then maybe you would have a point, but, you are really that concerned about what? Their hats (??), and a rap song? Unbelievable.

Calm down, and instead of "looking into the world", try looking into your own psyche, you seem to have some unresolved issues.

You're making some seriously fucked up comparisons. No one actually thinks violence is cool, or living in poverty, or anything like that. When people emulate "hood" or "gangster" things in skiing, they're not acting like actual gang bangers, but more like what they see in rap videos. And as far as I'm concerned, having enough money to throw around, pouring champane on strippers and smoking a lot of weed sounds like a pretty awesome life to me. The whole hood thing in skiing stems from an apprecitation of hip hop music and the lifestyle and addittude conveyed in that music, which for the most part is talking about how much money the artist has, how many girls he's fucking and what drugs he's on. Some of it is pretty violent, but I really don't think thats what people are relating to in it, do you see people in ski edits holding guns or pretending to kill people? No.

And am I saying that no one would have the right to condemn you if you were pretending to be a nazi? (key word, pretending) We'll no actually, because people do that all the time, they even march on washington and the police protect them, first amendment, mr. grown up. Another fucked up comparison on your part, and not at all related to the topic. But really all I'm trying to say is let it fucking go, its only skiing.
