Invert Help ++++kk

Ok so its my first year skiing and i got pretty good on rails but on jumps i am not really that good...and i was thinking about trying either fronts backs or lincolns. Which one would be my best bet? Also what size jump should  be taking these off when i try them? +k thx

you may want to become more comfortable on jumps first before you try any flips, like whats your best trick right now?

i'm kind of in the same position as you. i just learned 5s and i wanna add some inverts.  i'm starting with front flips because (from what i've heard, i can't do them...yet) they have less of a risk for injury when falling

if you can find someone to teach you that'll help a lot, if not watch the tech talks on flips or something

Well I just learned backflips yesterday, after so long of bitching about how scary they are I finnally felt like my dick was shrinking and just did it. I landed it third try and both falls didnt hurt. I just built a super steep jump almost like a quarter pipe in my yard and made a huge powder pit for a landing. I shot you straight up but a steep jump is what is best for learning backs. So go for the backflip.

im in the same boat.  im getting pretty good at jumps and i think my first flip is going to be a front.  i would say just make sure you can do them on a trampoline or something and then just gather up your balls and throw them

If you can find a good steep natural jump or build a steep jump into pow go for the backflip.  Steep jumps help a lot with backflips.  As you leave the lip lean back and look back as far as you can, bring your knees in and it's pretty easy.  It's a really natural rotation, you just gotta have the right jump and some cajones.  Good luck guys

first invert i learned was a frontflipn and it is by far the easiest (i can now rodeo and misty). i deal situation is to build a pretty small pow jump and huck super hard(that way you dont have to worry about timing the flip). then find a similar sized park jump when it is slushy and bingo. once you get to bigger jumps it gets harder though.

I just decided to go for it and hucked a bakcflip last year, landed second try. This year I learnt, mistys, rodeos, bio 7's and fronts. My tip would be just learn it on tramps, find a jump you know the speed of and you are comfortable on it and just huck it!

I would try backflip first, there easy as long as you dont freak out in the air. try it of a jump made by yourself and have a nice landing on it.

learn how to do everything on a trampoline and then take it to the snow..i feel the easiest is a back flip but if you want to do it just go for it 100% n dont freak out

These cats got it right bro...get these things dialed on a tramp, then bring em to the snow.

But fronts are super easy, backflips are by far the simplest though.  Watch the tech talk by 4frnt on here to get the best info.  Remember tight stomach, thumbs up, and commit 110%

As Luke Van Valin puts it "Give it 100% cause, you can't do a 50% backflip" haha.

lincoln it seems take a while longer to be able to stomp directly on ur feet the first time but for me they werent that painful when i would fall or wash out a little. fronts on the other hand were a little scarier and i landed a little back seat me first and second hit but they came alot sooner to stomp. I think cause with frontflips you have a more ways to still ride away. like you can land back seat and be fine compared to a lincoln where if you basically have to do the perfect rotation of a cartwheel in the air to land on ur skis

i would say that backflips are a ton easier all you have to do is get speed and just commit.  build a steep jump into a down hill landing and just tuck and try to rotate. just as easy as 360s

i would start getting those fives before flipping but i think back flips are the easiest it feels like a trampoline almost but i would go for a jump a little bigger than you might think and i would definitely wait until there is a couple inches of snow

Go for backflip first. Do it on water ramps or a small jump with a very soft landing first, you might not make it around the first time around. Guaranteed you will get it second time!

Lincolns are harder to land because they are harder to set (you can end up pretty backseat on them.) Fronts are harder because your landing is blind. Backs are easy to set and you can spot your landing the best.

frontflip. you dont need a large jump to do it on....and if u fall the injury wouldnt be as bad as under rotating a lincon hahhah

I just started doing punch fronts, and they are soo much fun. And super easy, its funny when everyone is like WHOOAAAA that kid just did a front flip and its not even that big. Do punch fronts!

i started off with backflips, they're ridiculously easy. get on a tramp before trying it off a kicker and make sure you are comfortable laying out and spotting your landing. good luck!

for backflips go to the end of the pipe where its finishing. the lip has a real nice pop for doing back flips.

I would go for a frontflip because you wont get injured as easy. And I would do it of a jump you can spin 5s off, and when you do it think about putting your hands just over the end of the jump to get the pop right. then huck and land. Worked perfectly for me
