Beer rules. And being Canadian beer flows up here like water. Kidding. Heres my say on beers. Canadians all right alot of people drink it because of the marketing, but Kokanee is way better. If you're a cheapo or tight on cash. In alberta you can get AGD, Alberta Genuine Draft. For 10 bucks for a 12 for americans coming to Alberta thats like 5 bucks for 12 beers, pretty good deal. However if you got the money Sleemans is your best bet. All in all the best tasting beer in the world. Its amazing, its honey brewed so after you done drinking it, theres a sweet after taste. really cool. Best party beer, because after if you making out with a chick, you don't have a stank beer taste in your mouth, she'll like it promise. Also KOLD is a good beer, and its about the same price as Canadian has a cinamon taste, but is just good for chillin at the hill or on a warm day. Also a cool little invention which Canadian makes is their mini keg, its a 15 pack in a huge can, with a built in tape. and for 20 bucks you can't go wrong there. anyways later

to skier_chick, i'm sorry but XXXX is pretty much the worst beer i have ever had. Crown Lager (or crownie) is the best beer money can buy but is heaps expensive but for good mid priced beer you can't go past Carlton Draught and the best chep cold beer is Vic, Vic Bitter (or VB)

what's all this pussy american beer stuff...you listed colt 45 man and some other people listed corona. its all about magic hat, longtrail, and doug brand homebrew...god bless my friend for brewing out of his dorm room. pear beer that's 12% by volume and only costs 20 bucks for 52 bottles...pure heaven

each to their own i spose, eh mate? Queenslanders seem to like their 4x but down here in the south the beer to drink is VB (even though it isn't particularly good). but crownies are definitely the way to go. still its good to see a chick drinking beer and not those dodgy chick drinks.

No you can't, in many states you can't buy it in small conveneince like stores. Rhode Island is one of these states.

Darryl, that was you and dave's fault for buyin that beer. You thought that Milwalkee was a respectable place and that their best beer was good enough because Milwalkee was cloce to Canada. I have pictures from that night, we were a bit hammered.

Labatt 50- get it now. Sleeman is made 10 minutes from my house- I'm going to raid the brewery some day. Then I'm going to the looney bin. Lakeport makes a pretty good brew, but I agree- homebrew is turbo. And Pabst Blue Ribbon for 'those days'.
