Unintentional Short Videos?

Last weekend I was  filming and when I looked at my videos, about half of them were only 6-10 seconds long!  I may have accidentally pressed the record button more than once, but on some of them I know for a fact I did not (even if I did, how would I get a 9 second video of dropping into a jump?)

I'm going to play with it more until I get it all figured out, but if anyone has some tips on what to look at I would appreciate it.  It was on video at 60 frames per second.

unintentional films happen.

but if you were sure you didn't press the button; check the camera with another memory card and see if it does the same.

what card are you using now? (brand, class, size ? )

i have the same problem and i am using a "verbatim" micro sd adapter 2GB        it norm ally does this after a few runs of using the cam (not HD)  and i am using lithium batteries aswell in temperatures around 0 degrees celsius    helpis extrememly appreciated    ++k

never ever use micro sd adapters when trying to record. it has to make it through three stages. camera->micro sd->sd adapter->computer. and for some reason go pros prefer kingston, but sandisk works and transcend. most common commercial sd cards.

the same thing has happened to me a few times on 60 fps.
