i just tore my acl for the second time, i had to miss last years ski season because of it and now after being so jcked up for this years i hve to miss it again. this fucking sucks anybody else retear theres?

more reason to head to Chille/NZ for the summer :)

Heal up fast and do everything the doctor says, you could still get in some spring skiing.

Or get a job working disabled sports at your mountain and you can use the uniski. My friend did that and loved it.

yea one of my buddies who plays soccer retore his ACL and couldn't play his senior varsity year, and it ended his career. He was on varsity all four years, and was goin somewhere. to say the least the kid was devistated. ++ vibes tho man.

I've blown my knee and sat out the majority of the past two seasons. It really, really sucks, but I have higher hopes for this year! Get some good books to read and make sure your physical therapist is hot, and that's about all you can do.

dont those come with a guarantee against retearing? my friend has one and his has a guarantee and i think if he retears it while hes wearing the brace, theres a certain amount of money you get for medical bills

I got a achilles tendon from a donor dead guy put in place of my acl 3 months ago in my left knee. after lots of workouts My left knee and leg is now stronger than my right. Shits insain what they can do nowdays.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I did that in colorado on a ski trip the second day out of the 8 and i was pissed!! but i couldnt resist and i skied the last 2 in bumps and pow haha!  I just rapped it up really hard and the pain kinda went away when i was skiing but it killed on the lift

I feel your pain man, I was getting so stoked for this season and then tore my ACL+MCL+lateral meniscus. Tears actually came to my eyes as I went down after the collision (it felt like super slow mo), because not being able to ski this season was the first thing that came to my mind. I'm determined to work my ass off after the op and maybe get a bit of summer skiing in, but I don't wanna push it. Either way, it's gonna be a miserable winter.

no dood i had to get a second opinion and they told me my meniscus is also torn and right now its stil able to surgery on but if it tears anymore they cant fix it and ill have real bad arthritis, so i gotta get surgery in a couple weeks
