End sexism in contests

I had a great idea just now. Girls and guys skiing has been seperated in terms of skill for a long time. Something needs to be done to get it on the right track! Soooooooooo, END THE SEXISM! Instead of X-games girls and guys events, lets combine em! That way, for like, superpipe, no more girls and guys events, just one big ski superpipe event.

Obviously, the girls arent goingto be going as high or doing as great tricks, so something like a handicap would be imposed on the guys so that the girls have a real chance against Tanner. But wouldnt that be cool?!?! A girl could beat out Dumont for the overall pipe contest and we could show the rest of the world that our sport is the lone one where gender doesnt make a difference!

That's the whole point of separated contests. And now, girls in both snowboarding and skiing actually throw down hard in all the contests. The point is for girls to compete against girls, have a fair hance, and challenge each other, same for the guys.



if a girl learns a trick that can win a mens contest, go enter it, and win it. But the combined idea is so bad.....

Its not that dumb an idea, it works in rollerblading. Fabi does double flips with the boys in vert comps and has been know to podium at them, it shows girls are capable of being good enough to compete against boys in sports like this. Now I think there would more claims of sexism if this happened, but it would be fairer.

I can see where your coming from for the idea, yes girls should be able to ski against the guys but think of this, at the moment the girls will be owned they're level of progression is just not near the guys, and adding a handicap to the guys is the dumbest ideas ever. In the future i do want to see girls and guys competing in the same field but only after the girls catch up to the guys, cause right now they suck.
