i have respect for Chris Turpin, Mike Nick, Eric Pollard, Innick B, Nicky Adams and Mike Wilson, because we all know they were skiboarders, and very good ones, so they turned out to be the most stylish and smartest skiiers in the industry, so i dont see why you wouldnt respect them......

well im jsut saying there not all little faggots, like all those guys were really good skiboarders, they didnt just get cool the day they jumped on skis, the size of your skis isnt going to change your personality or your drive to progress, there in the sport for the same reason all of you are, to have fun and push there limits, they dont rag on you for riding long skis so dont rag on them for 70 cm's of diffrence.....

I'd have to say skiboarding was fun UNTIL twintips got big. I couldn't afford to drop 700 on a decent setup, so I rocked some Mike Nick Pros. Thank god I got more cash flow now, but all I have to say about skiboarders is 99.9% of them suck ass, and that is the reason the sport never did or never will take off.

well thats not really a good enough explination why you dont respect it. its like 70 cm diffrence, its basically the same sport, i think people are affriad to have there own opinions on diffrent subject becuase they are afraid of getting made fun of, like the kid that started this, he pretty much asked weither he should think it was cool or not.....

It's not so much that we hate skilerbladers, it's that we hate fat twelve year olds using the rail jumps to do spread eagles off of. They hurt skiings allready crappy image, and they look just plain goofy. If I see some skilerblader throwing rodeos of a big jump I won't make fun of him, it's more the little ones.

well if i was goin with the flow dont oyu think i woulda been bashing them hardcore and saying what faggots they all are, i just dont dig the sport, i mean to me its just not that same, i mean a good skier can put style into anything, even just by how he rides down the hill, and well snowbladers...they just look kinda goofy, there are a couple sick snowbladers (were?) but that doesnt mean you have to have respect for the sport.

Skiboarding is the only way I got my girl to go all over the groomed mountain. She has bad knees and skiing always fucked them up. I used to skiboard a few years. Crazy hard to land off big air. Taught me how to balance and stomp my landings. Why pick on the skiboarders being dumbshits in the park when there are at least that many snowboarders camping and shitty fieldtrip punk kids rolling over the lips and cutting me off after i drop in. I say hate the dumbshits, not the skiboarder

Wow, some of you people are intolerant assholes. If you think that skiboarding takes away fun parts of skiing, that it doesn't use the whole mountain, then don't do it! Doesn't mean you have to bitch at other people who do it. You sound like snowboarders, ripping on skiiers years way back. Let them ride what they want, and stop being dickwads, find another way to make yourselves feel superior.

There are shitty skiboarders that I'd ratehr not have in the park, but the same is true of snowboarders and skiiers (mostly snowboarders). So don't hate the sport, hate the individual, and don't say they ALL suck, because, like the former skiboarder pros who switched to twins, there are pros who still skiboard who are as good as those guys were, and would probly be successful if they wanted to switch.

Oh and I really like the whole 'all skiboarders are gay' thing. I'm sure if you ride a different length of plank, it's inevitable that you become homosexual. That makes perfect sense.

Seriously, you want to say skiboarders give skiing a bad image, well, YOU give skiing a bad image with this bullshit. Let people do what they want, and stop creating hate. We don't need it on the mountain.

Do what you want and let other people do what they want. As long as they don't cut you off or wreck jumps. Then land on them.

I also appreciate the fact that people are learning and having fun on the hill. It seems like you are taking the smile on someones face for granted. Someone is stoked on there first day in the park on skiboards, and you will rip on him for having fun....sounds rad

i saw some guy with those trying to ski powder and he failed big time. for me powder is the best part of skiing so i would never hit gromed or park over powder

i was trying to learn 360s off this little hip we have since we have no jumps. This skiblader cut infront of me to try and get 2 inches of air. I was pissed and i threw my pole at him. He ran it over and took off. I think he knew i was pissed at him. Skibladers are so gay like that
