Damn, Yesterday Kinda Sucked...

So, long story short...
We have been down in Tahoe for about a week filming backcountry, and finally the storm we have pretty much been waiting for all season finally hit.
We were just chillin in the house in the afternoon and some people knocked on our door to show us what just happened outside. Not thinking of any of it we head outside to see this...

So basically a 70-80 foot tree fell on our snowmobiles and trailer. Bentley's is totalled as well as the trailer. Cameron's sled has some damage and its faith is still unknown.

Looks like we will be snowshoeing for a while :(.

We actually do. There is just one problem. Since no human error was involved it might be considered "an act of god," so we might just be shit outta luck, Which would really really really suck since thats several grand just down the drain :(.

i'm not super familiar with sled insurance, but with car insurance, an 'act of god' is always covered since it wasn't anyone's fault. i just hit a deer recently and my deductible was even lower than normal since it was an act of god accident.

in ohio that would be covered under your insurance. hail, ice, ect are all acts of god and they are all covered under comprehensive(everything but collision). but i dunno bout where u have your insurance through.

My car was actually parked there about 2 hours before that happened, but my mother told me to move the sleds from where they were to there... so if i didnt do that, it would of been the car.

Ha and AJ i know you want that 08 badly, but i definitely dont have the assets to buy your sled.

It looks like you could replace the tunnel and the seat on that one and it may work, you might need to look at the suspension too.

Trees are attracted to sleds, my sled almost flew down a hill and nailed one head on when I wasnt on it, luckily it didnt haha, it was gnarly
