Their website says they are making snow now, which is pretty early compared to the last couple seasons I think. I hope they do, because I don't have to go to Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving Day this year, so I can ski.
i was up there monday and it was looking good. they of course had like 10 blowers on the bunny hill. they will definetly have enough snow for the snow cross. i wouldnt be suprised if they got enough for thanksgiving weekend as long as it stays cold. we cant have any more of the weather we had today. oh yes they had like 3 blowers on powder monkey and what i could see of 2 on bindle stiff. so it should be good
Travis and I are tentatively planning to come up early for a preseason poach before the Made in Minnesota Premiere on Monday if anyone else is down. Sounds like the Minneapolis St. kids are coming too.
no, but if you're not dumb and a little stealthy it usually isn't a problem
when everyone was making a big stink about it last year I had even less trouble than the year before.
it's the dumbos that leave trash everywhere and sink rails on the bunny hill and leave them there so the groomer dudes have to dig them out that ruin it for everybody. you can't blame the workers for getting irritated about that
no, no, you can get trizzed when you tear your ACL, are too old to ski hard, or can't ski for some other legitimate reason.
I admit that the likelyhood of getting kicked out is much higher when the only hill with snow is the bunny hill so some jerkhead office worker can see you from the chalet and come out to yell at you, but that hasn't ever happened to me, the worst I've seen was that we were told we weren't allowed to put up any rails.
anyway, if any other hill has snow, go there and only the snowmaking crew will see you, and they've always been really chill (knock on wood)
