So I'm filming the intro to the NS Movie and...

I wanted to know if you guys have any ideas, I'm currently in San Diego and I wanted to see if you guys had some cool ideas to introduce the sponsors, most of the filming is gonna be urban(not skiing, just filming downtown and stuff) and a lifestyles kinda stuff, any easy ideas to introduce the title and sponsors?

get random homeless people to introduce the sponsors and then have them bare knuckle box for a bottle of cheap wine.

find some people surfing..tape them....when u edit it, cut out the peole on the surfboards and replace dem w/ the logos of the sponsors, so it looks like the logos are surfing...then film some birds for shits and giggles

film birds and then add in sponsor logos behind them like they're towing them
also have homeless people hold up signs with sponsor logos

fuck timelapses. Film in slow motion and have your subject move really fast. Or do that technique where you film the background in slow-mo then overlay it with a normal speed moving subject.

I also like the bum idea. Have the bums say the skiers names.

dance super slow in a crowd of busy people. and speed it up so your dancing is normal.

nvr mind, then those busy people would be super busy, like bees. and thats just silly.


but on a serious note make easter eggs with company logos on them. then shove them inside a rabbit then  tie a basket onto a dogs head with pink ribbon and go on a hunt for the eggs! you could even film it if you wanted to...........

if youre filming at the air port, get a ticket and zoom in on it at every step of the process. change the text on the ticket to a different sponsor every change

Definitely do the bum thing. haha. You should go to China Town too. Will you get me something cool from China town and give it to me at IF3? haha. When you introduce the athletes you should introduct them by there NS name instead of by their real name. maybe? I dunno. Def. Film bums, and lots and lots of artsy stuff. haha.

dude.. if you're gonna look for bums, head down to Ocean Beach... it's like 5 minutes from the airport... essentially bum heaven. it's not like super "urban", but there are definately bums on the seawall and at the cliffs that'll hold up signs or say stuff for shits and giggles... not like they do much else.

Then write the sponsors and stuff on index cards and hold them in front of the camera, including one that says something along the lines of, "We were gonna have something cool to introduce the sponsors but then we blew our budget blowing shit up."

Go to the hotel del coronado beach throw some food on the sand and have some gulls snag it then make it look like theyre snagging spnosor logos. there are some pretty sweet rocks there where you can get some sick shots too.  also, check out the point loma lighthouse, tons of good shot opportunities there.

go to a public place with all the sponsors on individual signs and get random people to hold up a sign with the sponsor logo and say whatever tagline the company wants. Then speed up/timelaspe between different people. You could film in and edit it in no time...

yes. or film a crowd and have random ppl hold the signs up so they just appear. that would also work while walking down a crowded street. short time lapse in between the sponsers would work too.

bums idea is great. you could try bums and just the funniest lookin people you can find to hold up signs and shit. it would be sick.....or you could get some sketchy lookin drug dealers to make some "drug deals" to you and every time you open your hand after and it isnt drugs its like the sponsor's logo or something
