Welcome to the live chat with Sammy Carlson, who's here in Mammoth as part of the Jib Academy 2008 Finale. The Salomon team is here along with a ton of groms that just got finished slaying it on a private jump this morning.

I was just wondering were the Jib Academy was going in the year of 08 and of 09. And that the Salomon Team should do a summer back yard tour. Like kids send in pics and vids of their setup and if they're like superly good you should hit the and like they at their house for 2 weeks.

First off i just wanna say that i think that you are the sickest skier. i have 2  questions, my first is i have noticed that you have been doing a lot more backcountry filming this year. Is that your direction your looking for.  And second, how is it filming with tanner, do you like it?

Thanks Sammy!

Big thanks to Sammy and Salomon for hooking up this chat, we hope you enjoyed! Sammy definitely did his best to answer as many questions as he could which was awesome since he was out all day shredding.

Any Tips On Skiing?

Have you been to Washington for skiing?

Comment, your good and if you want to mountain bike come to north bend then exit 27 and ask someone for directions from there, its secret local stuff, and i wana ride with you if you come, and beware its hard! The vids of it are on my sig, and go to youtube and cam mccaul (pro freeride mtn biker) went there, he said it was sweet!
