^^^agreed. Unless you see a decrease in floatation as a benefit or all you're looking to do in pow is hit backcountry kickers I expect you'll find the negatives outway the positives.

dude I don't even like to center mount park skis, so I don't know why in all enternal hell you would center mount powder skis. Its just plain ole stupid.

I've got my scratches center mounted too. I only ski park with them though. Love it. It also in a sense makes the ski seem somewhat shorter too

All my skis are centered, or 2cm back from center. It helps hella in pipe / park. Not bad for B.C. I do all my skiing center mnt.

My skis were center mounted line 1260's last season (too poor to afford any more than 1 pair of skis), and I skied 80 days. I would NOT recommend it at all. It causes you to lean back really far in any conditions besides ice and thus caused me to get severe shin bang and it lasted all season. I did as much research as I could do about what causes it, and all the people who knew what they were talking about said it was from leaning back too much on landings and while riding around. Think about how you have to lean back riding powder, if it's center mounted you have to do it even more. That's my 2 cents.

i was thinking about getting the PE's and mounting them at +3. what are your suggestions on doing so?
