As some may know, and others don't, i have quit drinking and have just recently quit smoking so i was at a party the other night, with a range of 14-17 year olds ish and of course there was some heavy drinking and smoking so im pretty sure i was the only person there able to complete sentences so the music apparently was a little too loud since we were in this like little yacht club house thing and the cops came with several complaints from neighbors and the knock on the door comes. One of my not too sober friends opens the door then bolts to the back door, where of course the cops are already in place when several teenagers came flying out of the doors like (place witty metaphor here). So i of course step up to the plate and start to talk to the cops who question everything thats happening, i was like no alcohol and they wanted to administer breathalysers until they realized that i knew that they couldn't without a reason. so then to get their minds off the party i started talking small talk about schools where they went, how the job was how it paid, etc. until finally i had them laughing until they eventually left. Some of the parents weren't as convinced and so they agreed to not call the cops if we turned down the music. if that doesn't convince people that not drinking has its upsides, i dunno what will
yo thats sick. i also and very good at talking to cops.
ive been breathalysed when i returned home the morning after a party the cops were at my house after i drove my sister to work and no dui, just an essay.
then caught with weed and booze in my car no diversion course just 275$ fine.
pulled over three times in vt going 20 over. warning each time.
fourth time going 65 in 45 i got a written warning for the first time
lie. i've been pulled over three times all going 20 over. never gotten a ticket. the 4th time i was going 15 over and it was a dick state trooper who didn't say a word other than license and registration. but if you just tell the cops that you had a really bad day at work and give him a sob story, you'll be good. or if you think the cop is a jokester just laugh around with him. usually if you're nice to cops they are nice to you. at least thats been my experience
well thats lucky for you, atleast you were sober. i had my shirt ripped by a pig trying to get in my face asking if i was drunk (i was wasted) i hate them. i wont even go near them, let alone strike up conversation if they are trying to ruin the fun.
yes its nice to be able to be comfortable around police. i've never had a ticket and its because i never hide shit from them.
i got pulled oe going 20+ over and blazed outa my mind going to steamboat down this huge hill. cop asks me if i knew what i was doing wrong and i just acted like i was dumb as a rock. i told him i had the music up really loud and wasn't paying much attention. he came back and gave me a warning. then on the ride home, same shit in silverthorne...same excuse, same outcome. and since then i just always use that excuse. also when they come up to you be nice. i always say "how's it going officer" all cheery and shit, like i migt have a tail light out and he's gonna tell me about it.
my ability to talk to cops = trash talk for some reason once i get some booze in me i start talking shit to cops. if they can't take a drunk 21 year old talking shit to them then they shouldn't be cops, but i've gotten into a shit ton of trouble for doing it aha arrested a few times, put into protective custody a few times, locked in the drunk tank, but seriously the drunk tank where my school is sucks, they handcuff you to a metal bar and leave you a bucket in case you have to puke
